Yeah that's one way to do it but I didn't want my audience to find an easier way that isn't reliable. It takes a decent time to look at your own lane and look at another lane and in a fast paced game, you might fuck up trying to do that

I was a carry in this game and we were farming in a hurry because were really behind and my fucking snapfire saw me pinging and walking towards 3 waves, they went and nuked it.

In lower brackets, there is so much un utilized resources available on the map. tbh anyone who thinks "their teammates" bla bla bla belongs to the bracket they are in.

I can attest to this. If you live your life playing SEA dota, you know this to be true. Even if they see you farming in their direction, they will farm the nearby camp in your farming rotation. I've always played carry before and there were 5 man farming the whole time, almost all the games! I switched to support that can carry the game without the need for too much farm and I went from Herald to Legend

its impossible to farm, without considering your matchups in atleast 2/3 of games.

until will you have a griefer afk pos5 :) im on 3 and between 4k and i have always a griefer.. always. In the last two weeks, I lost 450mmr, because of griefer toxic players. Ohh.. with 10k behavior score ofc. And these games was not one me. I know the common god players will say: if u are good enough, u can climb up. But no. It is really hard if you are playing carry and pos4-5. If you play mid, climbing up is really easy. But i do not like to play mid. I love to play support or carry. And if you have a feeder mid, or a feeder pos1, u can not do anything. U can get the stars from the sky, nothing will help your game. U can try so hard, it will be impossible to win the game with 1 griefer.

​​@@solymosi4​ It's not like these griefers are in your every game and who's to say the enemy team don't get them too in some of your games. I personally believe in the 40/40/20 rule that Jenkins made a video about. 40% are guaranteed wins, 40% are guaranteed losses usually because of things out of your control like griefers, smurfs, account buyers, etc. And 20% are impact games. These are relatively close games in which both sides are on equal skill level and almost every bit of mistake or outplay can decide the outcome of the match. The best way to get better is to focus on winning these tough games are they not only help you get better at the game being put in a difficult but manageable and winnable game but you also get some much needed experience from such high intensity games not to mention winning these games will give you a huge rush that every dota player craves for. Regardless though play like you're always trying to win, always trying to prove that you're better than the enemy team, always wanting to take the enemy ancient no matter what.

As offlane u cant afk farm like pos1 and win while turning your brain off, to rank up from offlane your only option is to abuse one type of playstyle to its limits, for example brood/beast/lycan zoo playstyle with helm dom, magnus/legion/axe initiator playstyle, or underlord/tide/ds auras playstyle, each of these playstyles need immense gamesense, laning, awereness, cs and micro to carry, so you have to literally spam these to be able to carry games

Your job as offlane is same as mid. Giving space for ur carry to seal the win. Every match has timing so u need to know ur friends hero and when to do some farming, and ganking. The key for offlane is when u make 1 or 2 item u can go war with the enemy so after 1 tower got destroyed u need to do some ganking or farming a bit to seal the win of some war.

I just think the comparison is not real by one simple fact. In lower ranks, supports and offlaner don’t play their roles properly, they steal every single creep and jungle camp on the map from the HC. To get near 200 lh in 20min is a joke in these brackets, because even your support wants to buy aghanims early game.

Idiotic also. Your impact on the game is insignificant if the team sucks. All this is nonsense. No matter how good you play, you can't win if the players are greeffing or play solo etc. I improved a lot and I want to play on Divine level, in fact my stats are mostly in that range. But it's impossible to win. People are idiotic and feed or ignore the team, push without vision, etc. It's just random and that reflects in the 50% of the games won by everyone in fact. It's impossible to climb without having a good team and win l70-80% of the games. Also these players have to be at your level, but Herald or Guardian, right??? I've seen idiotic Archon noobs who don't use the Phantom Rush on PL to farm faster, for example. Anything under Divine is low level. These videos on youtube would aim for that kind of rank, but it's also hard to apply all these strategies if the teams are constantly fighting. With dazzle I saved entire teams for example, but in the end, I can't save them all, and there is nothing to save if they are dying like flies one by one and never focus on team! And that's just an example. I won 9 games in a row with WR as mid. But! If I go for role, I have to check the supports and the game puts me as hard support. I can impact the game as much as I can, but I can't win it by myself. SO!!! BOTTOM LINE. I will never go out of Herald even with high skills. I need a team on my level! And that's hard to find.

Just don't tilt, don't tilt your teammates and try your hardest. When you're winning it's very easy to overextend and make mistakes, so by not tilting you're allowing yourself and your team to capitalize on enemies overextending. I've came back plenty of times in games where the lanes are lost hard. It's all about mental strength.

@@eloquence5134 This is very helpful, I'm trying not to tilt every game, I even had SF pos5 and I tried to make it work but it ends up us losing but I kept my cool and tried for next game, and now I just ranked up to Legend IV and Hoping I could reach Ancient I, It just bothers me sometimes that I lose around 10-12 minutes and my lane has been pushed towards Tier 2, I saw a video from BSJ on how to win from that type of scenario where you get beaten to a pulp then magically recover after 10 mins. I was hoping PainDota could share something about that scenario, I would love to see it.

" I still get the job done in the end" well.. you got the job done, so where is the problem? apart from that, there are just 2 ways to deal with a lost lane anyway. 1. just farm more, 2. if your hero is not a fast farmer and something like battle fury would take too long to farm, just skip it and buy an item, that helps you to fight like bkb, to join your team in fights asap. this works in this patch especially well because kills give alot of gold right now. t.e, when i played slark, lost the lane really hard and farmed myself a bkb min 15 to join the fights fast, i was able to kill the supports (who would just kite me, if i had a farming item instead) and snowballed from there.

He said in the video that if you lose your tower you just fall back and farm the outer camps, while taking the waves when they push in.

I will give you mine. 1.if you're consistently the highest networth hero on your team then encourage at least 1 support to always be around to help you in case you get gone on. It doesn't necessarily have to be a save or healer hero just someone who can even turn a gank around and outright kill those trying to gank you. 2. Play around your power spikes and maximize your farm as much as possible to hit these spikes before the enemy cores do. Usually being an item or 2 ahead or sometimes an immensely powerful Aghs upgrade, Aghs shard or level talent. 3.Join fights only if you know you can outright win it and if you can't then recognize such instances as quickly as possible and gtfo before they get to you. Prioritize your life over your teammates to be more precise. 4. Never go highground without Aegis EVER! I can't stress this enough. Even at my Divine rank and even with a decent gold lead it's absolutely stupid to try and siege tier 3 towers without an Aegis. It always ends up badly. At low ranks this is really tricky to convince your teammates to do but you will have an easier time to end games sooner if you manage to do this. Spam pinging rosh if you have to. Insist the support to ward the Twin gates portal on where the Rosh is currently. Also, you generally can take down rosh in a minute or more if it's the full team so if you manage to convince your team to go rosh then do take it when there's at least 2 minutes left before Rosh moves to the other pit(e.g.23 min/28 min). Generally it's you the pos 1 carry who takes the aegis since you're the one with sufficient physical damage to siege the tower but it can sometimes go to certain mid heroes who can frontline and deal a lot of tower damage for you like Meepo or a hero like Storm Spirit who will be able to use the extra life well to win a decisive having full mana up again once aegis is used up. 5. Carries that I recommend in low rank are CK, Juggernaut, WK, PA, Slark, Ursa, Razor, MK and Bloodseeker. If you're really committed you can even try Morphling and Naga but it is a huge commitment to get good with these 2. If you're really serious about adding at least one of these 2 to your hero pool then you better get some serious practice and play time on anything first usually in unranked or in turbo. Hope this helps you out bro.

This question is specific only for laning stage because sometime when this happened you literally got stomp even you go jungling either pos 3/4 enemy will hunting and disturb your farm

@@teh_oais6437 lets imagine you dont have a decent supp and you cant even lane under tower. heres a simple recipe for pubs: 1. buy yourself an observer ward and place it between where you want to farm and where your opponent would gank you from. 2. if someone wants to gank you in there, you will see it and you have to scream into your mic for help before theyre even close to you because the team is typically rather slow. 3. enjoy the counter gank

@@ladderlappen4585 i got your idea thanks, but gank is not the problem for my question, basically i ask what will u do if u have to 1v2 lane at lvl 3-4 while enemy pps 4 outzone you while their offlane farming and d9 creep and small camp was blocked. If you said just get XP and lvl 6 go jngle i believe with all the d9 from enemy make your level process so slow and u cant even reach lvl 6 by 10min mark. So for the first 10min u literally cant do anything except hug tower while watching creep got d9.

When farming on side lanes early in a 2v1 scenario: 1. Push and pull. 2 . If warded try to deward or go stack the camps adjacent and farm them till the wave is back under your tower. 3. Don't die or try to minamalize the downs of your early match ups. This should do 80% of the time

It's more consistent to farm creeps than it is to kill enemies, so I guess it's generally better for climbing in lower elos to just play farming carries.

The thing is if you copy high elo player gameplay for example slark they will join war as much as they can. Why not recommend for low elo, because low rank player respond to a teamfight bad compare to high rank player their respond is fast and prio to protect their carry while focusing on killing enemy core. So the best way on playing carry is the pick hero that easy rely on farm instead of teamfight

@@lucasmitchell9027 I just almost lost a slark game because I stopped farming. I was like 5/0 in the lane, and went for ganks after I got mkb. (pa&wr) It worked at first but then they started 5 manning and my farm was weak and I almost lost. Had to rat dota a bit to win. At the same time I had 30 essence shifts so that's like a whole item in itself. If I had to do it again, I would rat dota farm from the moment they all showed up to the first team fight.

you should learn all the roles to some extent, if you applied the knowledge in this video it will improve your overall game understanding and make u gain mmr

Based on my own experience as a carry player and watching other high rank players. There is a lot of farm available on the map. If you aren't playing super active, you have 0 excuses of not achieving these numbers
