Actually I did change out both mics on my vlog camera in this video to show them both on the case so you should have heard the difference in the two. The saramonic mic works really well and I have started using it on my vlog camera now. When I am explaining the case and the mics I switch them out. Hope that helps. The rode mic is nice but I like small and compact if it works. I have a vlog coming out this weekend where I use the saramonic with the HERO 7 (which I didnt keep).

so steve I didnt keep the HERO 7 because I was able to get my Panasonic G85 focus issue resolved finally. My husband purchased the G85 for me as a gift to replace my HERO 5 which had sound issues. I couldn’t get the AF on it to stay on me and it was a simple lens swap that corrected it. The HERO 7 is amazing but not needed now. With the little case I can now use my HERO 5 and have good audio when needed!

Hello, yes it was awesome being the only one there but come summer that will change lol. I love the setup as well and I just might keep the GoPro 7. We weather the storm fine but tornadoes South of us were scary. Let me know how you like the setup!!

David Bond I have a video coming our today from Hell Hollow where you will hear the clicking and then in some no clicking. The audio from it is really good.

Nice informative video and beautiful falls. I do a lot of hiking in the mountains of Utah and film with the Go Pro. My videos are hiking and motorcycle riding videos . Will be getting the 7 soon mainly for the stabilization so I don't have to buy another 350.00 gimbal. I also replace the sound with music in my videos. More of a visual experience kind of videographer. Great channel and will look out for more of your creations.

Thank you! I love doing my vlogs with a GoPro! I plan to get a mount for my motorcycle this year for my 5 black and see how that turns out as well. I will sometimes replace my footage with music but sometimes I prefer the sounds of nature in there too.

Hello Tammy, we have the same setup 😊😍👍 works very well until the GoPro keeps not turning on and have to pull the battery out and pop it back in. GoPro 7 black. Very good vlog Tammy 😊👍

Hey there! I just watched your vlog and realized we have the same setup now LOL! Yeah changing the battery is a pain but its all good. I am going to keep the GoPro 7 black and have my GoPro 5 black as a backup and for time lapse I think. Thank you Mali....hugs!

Tammy Mellert Thanks Tammy. Little idea for you, get a hot shoe for the top of your dslr and pop your gp5 on top to do a second camera to talk about your shots. 😊👍 take good care x

Thank you! All my videos except for a couple are on the GoPro HERO 5 Black on the FeiyuTech G5 gimbal. I love the ease if using a GoPro for my vlogs and the weight. The Panasonic G85 id great but the focus issue is driving me insane! I am thinking if keeping the GoPro HERO 7. Let me know if you get one!!
