My experience of DSDT equipment has been just the opposite. I’ve had two fail after just past a years use and despite contacting DSDT a number of times they ignored any request to refund or even fix them. I’d avoid at all costs if your in the market for a Lipo charger.

Pretty interesting charger, Lee! Fantastic first impressions, thanks! 😊 Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊

Looks like this is a ToolkitRC M6D in a posh frock with tweaked firmware and an integrated PSU. Very similar interface, physical layout and feature set.

No, i am willing to bet this is a hota d6. interface looks much closer to hota

Thanks for the recommendation! I think it works great. As you pointed out the charg cables are less than impressive.

Just FYI, Hobbymate D6 Duo Pro and the HOTA D6 Pro both do sync charge with a firmware update.

The windy spring weather makes me wonder how fast it can discharge :(

Great that has DC input. Makes this charger very versatile; and more so that can discharge to external DC input. Since has wide DC input (7-30V), it might even make a good field charger in combination with a solar panel. (12V and 24V foldable solar panel's are common for camping, etc)

I bought one a couple of weeks ago and love it!

Great review as ever!! Ty it does look a lovely charger, having the option to run DC is great. That said I also love my D2 charger for home, with 2no ToolkitRC M600’s for field charging.

I've bought one of these and it seems to work ok, however screen almost impossible to read in sunlight, it's a shame as the charger otherwise is good. Black font on a white background would be better for outdoors.

I like the look of DSDT more… but the possibility to run DC controlled supply out of this is a very nice touch considering the size.

Looks like a great charger. The ISDT D2 Mk2 has horrible fan noise unlike the Mk1, so I'll have to keep my out for this new charger.

I've had this charger for a few a months and I like it. It's pretty solid. The DC power supply function is very useful. Like many chargers however it suffers from some firmware glitches, which IMO detract from its appeal, given the risks associated with charging. I think I would purchase the Hota D6 instead with hindsight, which seems to still receive firmware updates. Why? The discharging function is unreliable and often triggers strange continuous beeping for which the only solution is to power cycle the charger. It is also the slowest to discharge of any charger I have used . Lack of eg lead acid programme. A surprising omission on a multifunction charger like this. I wish the software was better tested / more reliable. Nevertheless a better than average charger.

I never use a charger for discharging. It is very inefficient and slow. I love the www.skyrc.com/bd250 for that.

Nice looks very stylish compared to what we’re used to. What is the balance current rating ? Thanks again for the look at a new product 👍🙏🏻

Is there a way to check the IR (internal resistance) on the LiPo batteries on this charger? Thanks in advance.

Hello, can the USB output charge my Futaba 16IZ simultaneously with charging 3-cell lithium batteries at 1.5A? thank you

I use the USB output to charge all sorts here, DJI remotes, GoPro cameras and lots more so probably... Best of luck

Lee great review mate. I've purchased the same charger and mine when I use thr storage mode, only discharges the pack at 0.3amps which is incredibly slow and painful. Does your do the same thing? Thank you so much.

Say you were parallel charging 6 4S batteries - would the sync charge feature you showed reduce charge time?
