Paint A SCOTTISH FOREST Beautiful Loose Watercolour Landscape PAINTING Tutorial DEMO Limited Palette

Join me in my studio as I paint this beautiful Scottish Forest scene inspired by 'The Butterfly & Toadstool', one of my favourite KZfaq channels where Dee Leslie shares her incredible artistic skills as an artist and pattern-maker, as well as an amazing insight into her life as a full time artist and Surface Pattern Designer. As well as this, she and her lovely dog Birch take us on wonderful walks through her local Scottish woods and forests. I painted this scene based on a screen shot from the video linked above.
I used Millford cold pressed watercolour paper, and raw and burnt sienna, sap green, perylene green, Payne's grey and a dab of cobalt blue and cad red.

I love your loose atmospheric painting style. I'm enjoying your tutorials so much. Please keep them coming. I find that my preference is painting landscapes but would like to try more floral paintings in this loose style.

Where do u learn the calligraphic brush stroke? I tried this 3x & am having kind of a difficult time with it however I’ve only been doing water color for 2 months. Love your work.
