You will also need masking fluid, a pencil, ruler and an eraser
Colours we used
Cadmium Orange
Yellow Ochre
Cadmium Red
Sap Green
Cobalt Turquoise
Mars Black
Paynes Grey
Cadmium Yellow
French Ultramarine Blue
Don't worry if you don't have all these colours, you can look at my colour chart episode (bit.ly/30r7stq) to learn how to mix your own shades from a simple 12 pan student range palette.

Beautiful doorway. I hope no one is complaining about the length of your videos. I enjoy the process from the drawing to the finished painting. It's enjoyable, entertaining, and a learning experience all at once.

What a delightful, warm and festive painting. I was in London twice at Christmas time and thought the decoration was above and beyond any that I had seen before. This door really brings me back.....and I too am looking forward to completing the 4 seasons. It's a "thing" now Harriet!! Thanks so much. Cheers!

What brand of masking fluid do you use? Yours seems to be easier to spread, most of the ones I have purchased are very thick. Thank you Suzie

Lovely!! Thank you!! I have found that even if I put the pencil sketch on lightly, I find it hard to erase the pencil marks. Is there a certain eraser that you use? I don’t won’t to tear the paper. Thanks so much 🎄

It’s a combination of needing to use good quality paint and paper and then drawing very faint. Not everything will come off

Why do you pour your masking fluid out into a pallet ? Sorry to dwell on it but I was interested how you got it back in the bottle because you wouldn't be able to keep it in the pallet ? Anyway beautiful painting thank you ☺

Hi Charlie, our advent calendar template is A4 (29.7 x 21cm) should work in all standard printers.
