I just chose random green paints for the base,muscles,and hilights respectivley it makes each ork unique and makes a horde of them look super cool

Nothing wrong with that. I have 4 or 5 Ork skin recipes I like to rotate between. This is just one of those. I might try to make videos for some of the other methods I like.

@@TheMiniatureManager yeah I just like the random variety ya know
@TheMiniatureManager9 ай бұрын
@@THE_GREAT_LORD_SOTH It makes things more realistic. Skin is often full of many tones and colors. IN the case of orks the brightness of the green also indicates age of an ork at least up to a certain degree. Darker green= older Ork.

@@TheMiniatureManager yeah that's why I like the random skin tones I make it's more ... realistic

@@THE_GREAT_LORD_SOTH I mean as "realistic" as angry green orks can be. lol

Army painter: Ork green and done.

Sure. You can certainly do it that way if that is what you like.

Very nice. I'm not a fan of the more common bright green orc skin, but this is much better!

I like a mix of greens in my armies. I do really like how this skin turned out.

Nice! Great video on a darker ork skin. Now try a more grey Elder Scrolls ork :)

That could be interesting. I will confess I am partial to brighter ork skin but variety is a good thing. Maybe I will give it a try.

Admittedly, I have painted a great many orks. Practice makes it easier.

Nice Tutorial but i like My orks extra glowing green :3

I have some bright green orks in my collection. I would say this is just 1 of maybe 5 skin recipes I use in my armies. The bright orks are some of my favorites.

Do you plan on making a tutorial on how to paint rotting Nurgle/zombie flesh?
@TheMiniatureManager9 ай бұрын
I certainly could. It wouldn't be all that difficult. I know a death guard player that would probably let me paint a plague bearer or two. You might enjoy my tutorial on the Buccephaloi (Undead minotaurs) from Conquest. I did a sort of mummified flesh on them.

Is the Orruk Flesh and Ogryn Camo "base" or "contrast"?
@TheMiniatureManager8 ай бұрын
Both colors are standard citadel paints. They are not contrast paints.
