yeah.... love the carbide as you say for dry scraping. Wow love that little dude! it really goes to town!!!

Super video and great explanation for the dry scrapping. I am trying different methods to scrap old paint off heavily covered skirting boards. The bahco pocket scrapper seems a good tool to save time and get the job done. What about using a wood chisel in the same way as your dry scrappers? Probably the bahco will definitely be a tool to add for the purpose of dry scrapping.

Hi Michael, pull scrapers are definitely a better option than wood chisels when it comes to stripping paint. If dry scraping isnt working well, you may need to heat it with an Infrafred Paint stripper. See our otjervideos with the Speedheaters And make sure you always wear a proper respirator and PPE around lead paint 👍

I’m guessing you probably already know by now, but for anyone that doesn’t, you can sharpen a carbide scraper with a diamond stone.

yes 👍 I have a local guy that can sharpen mine but for the replacement price most DIY'ers don't do it or have a diamond stone.

Well it IS on KZfaq and I'm trying to stop it by alerting these people who make them to SHORTEN THEM. Nobody wants to watch a 14 minute video. "Hi, my name is Bob. And what we're going to talk about today is paint scrapers". (we know....that's why we clicked on the video).

Instead of complaining about other channels. Why don't you start your own and make 2 minute videos? Surely that should be no problem unless you really don't have anything to contribute.
