So do you pick and choose who's content you monitor? Funny how it's only an issue when a dude with 300k subs films, but how come there's min 5 ppl each day with gopros and others with cameras yet hasn't been an issue and no one has said anything to smaller creators when they are there? You'd think SC Village would love all of us showing off the park? Food for thought... 🤣

So we are treating the guys who are doing this for passion, getting shot up on the sidelines every weekend to capture and grow the sport normally as single person small businesses the same as multi millionaire dollar Hollywood productions renting the space for a shoot? Just making sure we are saying those policies should be the same and how absurd that sounds.

A lot of us media crew have agreed to avoid anything GIANT or Bear is involved in until policy changes and they acknowledge the issue. Was considering Bunkerfest briefly, not anymore.

Verb works hard to make his content, and in typical fashion, the industry pisses all over it (unless you're Iconic). Gio has a history of taking advantage of the people who attend the events, the teams that use his fields for practice purposes and I wouldn't be shocked if they screw Rangel/Bunkerfest in the near future. Bear...well, I was always told if I have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all.

Love your work keep it up bro and giant sports has always been like this on and off the field and in the corporate world as well. people my not know me but it see and hear people have talked bad about them all the time the customers at the fields and even there own employees talk bad about them.

So this is the way I see it if paintball fields battle each other and don't work together. That's the death of the sport. In the fields don't want to pay for video content, then they should just share the links of the guys who are busting their butt to make paintball videos. The other thing we can do is boycott the fields that are doing this. People don't show up to play they don't make money, and they will learn really quickly.

Private property can restrict media gathering. First refusal and automatic reposting is fascinating. They'd likely need a written and countersigned contract. The copyright on the content generated falls to the creator unless otherwise assigned. Verbal does great work. Poor guy.

I’m new to paintball coming from combat sports. Paintball at times are full of whiny double crossing babies. A lot of ego and no integrity in this sport and that’s saying a lot. This sport could be so much bigger. And I once worked for an engineering firm. In their contract, they said “anything created or thought of while working for them is their property”. Granted this situation is not this extent but why not just talk to each other behind closed doors and squash the beef? Usually if there’s beef in BJJ, we settle it on the mats. There’s always mutual respect for each other at the end of the day. It’s not always all about money.

This has been insightful for me. 1. I have one more reason to avoid California. 2. I have always wondered how some content creators manage to take portions of videos from other creators or even movies, and it doesn't fall under a copyright issue.
