It's almost like I was back at the Bonanza 102. Arizona and Nevada are pretty close in terrain and gathering cattle on a hot summer day then having a small storm roll over you, just heavenly! Horses, cattle, sweat and rain....nothing better than that. Thanks for the memories! The baby stud in my picture is 1/2 Appy & 1/2 Freisian, 15 months old, might give Czar a run for his money when it comes to looks..... but you can't beat that buckskin color with all that shine! Very pretty boy! 🐎

My grandfather had a old McClellan I found in the tack room an from the look of it it hadn’t been used for some time but after cleaning it up then soaping it it is the only saddle I’ll use now . Great video.

In 1966 when I learned how to drive dad's farm truck was a 1953 g m c one ton with a clutch. That is what I learned how to drive on.

The horse Henson was on was so shiny you needed sunglasses to look at it.

Sometimes if hard to get into reverse you can turn off the engine put into reverse and restart the engine , sometimes saves struggling with the gear lever , on manual geared pickups ,autos are sometimes easier lol !

Czar's coloring is beautiful...he glows like a bronze or gold statue.

I loved the saddles you have and the horses, 'cause I'm a "City Slicker" and don't even know how to ride a horse !!

amazing indeed that one guy and his horse manage to guide a bunch of other horses to that one place he wants them to be...wonderful!! Interesting course about the saddles! Here we are not so close with the 'cowboy sadle', but some of us do more or likely. Most of our horses take of if they see that kind of saddle coming...🤣...Nice work on the brest collar!👍👌 👋🇧🇪

Beautiful saddles. My old saddle is very heavy. A lady sold it to me for $300 because it was to heavy for her. Those do not look as heavy.

But gathering cows is ranch life and thats why we are here...the rugged, rustic way of life

I have that problem where I'm doing riding lessons. The horse I have been using for most of the winter is hard to catch now during the summer while she is out in the field with all the grass.

Might try some of those Freedom Shoes on that laminitis horse. I was told that Trevor Brazil uses them on his arena horses with hoof and leg issues. We tried them on my wife's navicular mare. Helps her on in the sand, in the rocks not so much.

You def should make czar merch, something as simple as a picture of him for wallpapers would be amazing and really easy for you to make and sell online!

My Dad would not let me Bring in the remuda on a colt or stallion I have seen Henson do it many times, he is the exception not the rule. Pretty sure my dad would have let Henson do as he saw fit! Zar is beautiful always, but his summer coat is magnificent.

I wear holes in the leather before the sole goes out but the insole is replaced every 3 months or so lol.
