Hi everyone in this video I am preparing for an upcoming art show.
Instead of framing my paintings like I usually do I am instead mounting them to home-made cradled panels and then sealing with cold-wax.
This isn't meant to be a tutorial as I am still trying to work out the kinks of this process but I can create one later or an update video.
Also, this is not a guide on how to safely use power tools, read the safety guidelines on your tools before using them.
Here are some videos on KZfaq and some articles online that go over this process. Most videos I found on the subject use similar processes/materials.

Some materials used
1/4 inch plywood
Poplar Wood
Woodglue
nails
staples
Sandpaper
Gesso
Mod Podge (make sure to get the acid free kind)
Gel Medium can also be used instead of Mod Podge, I found that it dried too fast. but I was also working in a super hot garage at the time
Plastic spreader for the glue
Microfiber rags
Dorland's Cold Wax Medium
If you build your Cradled panels yourself you may need access to a table saw, chop saw, nail gun and staple gun
