That's a really lovely little painting! Thank you for the tip on using the wax to protect it as I wondered how well gouache would survive the elements on the cover of a sketchbook! 🙂

Love your Rhino! I learned a lot about how you keep your qouache moist and about using wax to protect your painting. What I was wondering is the difference between gouache in a tube and gel gouache. Is their one you prefer and if so why? Thank you for all your videos.

Hi there Fran, I’m glad you enjoyed this little Rhino video. To be honest there’s very little difference between tube gouache and jelly-style gouache. I use both types, they can even be combined in the same painting they’re that similar. Once dry you can’t tell them apart. So no I don’t prefer one over the other. Hope this helps xXx

Love it. How is the paper inside the book? Will the pages hold up to watercolor work? Or would you just sketch in it? Thanks for posting

Hi there Rob, thank you ☺️ The paper is 140lb so is definitely heavy enough for watercolour, pen & wash, or gouache etc. xXx
