I paint nature, but I stay with one painting for more than a month, and this exhausts me. I await your advice, because you are my role model in art.

What makes you take a long time? Is it your environment. Is it a lack of care toward the painting? Is it you are not sure of your techniques. Is it the size of your painting surface? Once you practice a lot of hours and you care with great passion and know your techniques you will gain speed. I call it going in lala land. Put some music on and work. Everything but the painting goes away.

I struggle in the same way. I'm not good enough yet to lose myself in that 'lala' land because I start making mistakes when I'm zoned in on the canvas, hehe.

I'm watching for your amazing technique (although I paint in guoache) and I'm keen to learn BUT the main reason I watch you paint is it is so beautiful, so soothing, so uplifting and somehow so spiritual and I don't know how watching something so exciting can be so calming but I feel so relaxed and happy and comforted and yet thrilled ! Your gift goes beyond teaching...it's food the soul and the heart and the mind !

Amazing, delightful! Your block-in, SirMikey, looks like stained glass, absolutely heavenly. The background soft, yet can still see individual leaves...then you finish the mist with 3-D prouds, very intelligent indeed. I do so rivet to your mossy, hairy boulders and can almost smell their age. Very appropriate music, as it we all stand in buffalo skin garments, feathers in hair, silently worshipping Mother Earth. Mikeydo, I'll say it again, you are aging like the finest wine, getting more flavorful and smooth...this painting ranks at the top... Platinum 🤍 for it and you, my best friend and teacher. The word thanks just isn't strong enough.

OMG, this is so beautiful! The atmosphere of the late autumn, it feels so peaceful and harmonious. And this is exactly what I wanted to learn - foreground covered with fallen leaves twigs and moss, which is not so easy to do. Now I'm going to try, inspired with this wonderful video, thank you so much!
