I just got my Minas Tirith finecast Fountain guards and they are ina ROUGH condition too. For all the money I could have bought 8 proxy ones in a miles better condition

Yeah they seem to be very hit or miss with the quality control.

I have had around 1/2 dozen finecast models and never had any issues other than bendy weapons but man those you got were rough

Yeah, I actually bought another pack (which is why there's a lot more at the end then what I started with!) which was a lot better on the air bubbles, so definitely a hit or miss issue it seems.
