This is road trip number two. More ambitious than ever, less competent than ever.
I paint Treebeard, Quickbeam and two other Ents from Games Workshop for the Middle Earth Battle Strategy Game. I do this whilst hunting down the perfect forest to prove the UK is worthy of being the birthplace of Middle Earth. I make my search in the Peak District, the Shropshire Hills and the Wye Valley.

Everything about this video genuinely made me happy, started watching it last night, Mrs sent me shopping today because apparently on one of the hottest days of the year ,DIY is the best solution, saw the dinosaur door stop, laughed too myself out loud in a fairly busy shop😂

@@BattleCamperHome sadly, I did not, I didn't think she would understand, though since then I have explained, she has watched this series and got excited when the dinosaur appeared SO , I will be taking a trip into town this weekend and certainly coming back with one! Looking forward too watching the next series mate

Brilliant stuff. My favourite bits were the Shire Theme covered by Kraftwerk, the unintended ASMR of the wind blowing during the trek in the woods and your inability to not buy the dinosaur doorstop. Oh and the pun loving cow!

Awesome video man. I hated building that metal ent. Took me almost a year and a couple of attempts. Turned out my main body was warped and its why it didn't go together properly

Thanks very much!! Its such a nightmare. Its currently in pieces in a box because it didn't survive the return journey from Lord of the Imps last year. I don't have the stomach to face repairing it. Hope you got yours fixed up in the end?
