Hi everyone. This is the start of this army project. I’ll be going over how to paint the whole kit and how the project is going so far
I think this may be my favourite warhammer kit I’ve worked on so far, genestealer cults neophyte hybrids!
Hope you enjoy the slightly different approach I’ve taken in this video too, feedback would be really appreciated

These look awesome! I really need to get over my fear of contrast paint and start using it more often! I'm also very excited to see the yellow vehicles!!

Thanks very much! I can’t recommend contrast paints enough, especially on organic things like tyranids or clothing, they work really well. I may do the next video on the vehicles

These guys look great! You really did a fantastic job with contrast paints. They can go on really splotchy sometimes but man these guys look fantastic

Very inspirational! I had painted up a squad myself, but I was very unhappy with the color scheme so I never went beyond the original squad. I really like the orange cloth with the gray armor bits. I also really like how you handled the skin. I will give this one a try and see how it goes on a few test models!

I’m in the same boat as you going through a huge slump at the moment with my painting. Hadn’t thought about GSC🤔🤔. Nice n easy colour scheme too. Great video

Yeah it’s always tricky to get out of a slump. GSC are good fun to work on, just remember you need a lot of them! Thanks for watching, I’m glad you enjoyed it 👍

Great video and a really cool scheme. I personally always have trouble with zenithal highlights either I go too thick or large parts at the bottom are still fully dark. The biggest trouble is angling it right for me.
