Hi everyone!
It's been a busy October for me but I'm back with more painting tutorials!
I wanted to do some longer format videos for those wishing to push their painting to the next level and thought Lorgar was a great Primarch to do a video tutorial on.
In this tutorial I take you through how to paint the red armour and and silver metallics for Aurelian.

The change from just red to when you filled in the silvers really is a great example of trusting the process. I sometimes struggle to hold my nerve when it comes to going hard with the highlights.

This honestly was like the best tutorial I've watch in years. The explanations and reasoning is amazingly well done and all the techniques are shown in a way that make sense but give them time to be shown how they are done and not rushed. Thanks so much for this video it really helped with my current project and I love your painting style it's just stunning everytime.

This is PERFECT. As someone who has a Lorgar to paint I cannot thank you enough for this tutorial. I also highly recommend Rob's 1 on 1 online lessons to anyone reading this. Last year he helped me develop my Word Bearers method for army painting and It has really helped me with my army.

Very Nice paintjob. In my painting circles we call it a light sketch, not pre lighting or shadows. Think its just what pepole are used to call it from the place they learned it, and that varies a lot

That's actually a decent argument: to paint Lorgar as slate grey or word bearers' red... The red is such a beautiful contrast to the green flames though! I'm honestly conflicted on which color to do!!!

Great video, would absolutely love to see you paint up Alpharius in the style of your recent mk3! Looking forward to part 2 of this, the reds just popped once those metals got darkened down!
