its basically thick paint that you can layer! Do some small paintings as a trial and you'll figure it out. Guoache is mostly used for layering and not blending since it is not very good at that.

I saw the sets earlier today on Amazon and just bought the purple one after watching your video. I know HIMI isn't considered artist quality, but it's SO much fun to work with. I have some WN but they dry out while using them and it's frustrating to use. These you just dump, mix and use. No fussing around with it. Love the four paintings.

Hi, new subscriber here. Lovely paintings, makes me want to get my gouache out! When I was little, I wanted so badly to be a lefty. I practiced and practiced but just could never be converted. Now, when I see artists paint with their left hands, I get flashbacks of my left arm feeling very sore and tired…. and I’m always so amazed at the beauty you guys can produce.

Hello! I use paintbrushes from etchr lab 😊 I mostly use flat brushes for wide areas and round brushes for the details!

As a beginner, you can practice with the ones you already have! :D just make sure you have different types such as flat brush and round brush to paint large areas and details
