Have to admit the core set is probably one of the best values I've gotten for a game in a while. Sprues for days...so much plastic it's not even funny. I'm not even halfway through my Spires!

There is a small amount of leftover bits, nothing major

Some of the newer kits are dual kits as well, so you can get some extra bits here and there.

Personally I'm not so on board with this aesthetic-wise as I am with AoS. The spires, are kind of strange. I think they're supposed to be something like chaos and nagashes legion combined, but I don't like the look of them. The thousand kingdoms is also a bit hit and miss. The ordinary troops aren't empire enough for me, but the Steel Legion soldiers look top quality and certainly make a fantastic Empire Greatswords proxy.

I just picked up two boxes of conquest 1 player starter boxes. At 75% off i couldnt pass. Spires and 100 kingsoms. Now I just need the dinosaur.
