Painting ultra deep black on a classic Chevy truck 🔥😎

June 26, 2022 Dad had this 1950 Chevy panel truck delivered from New Mexico. On July 8, 2022 we had stripped 70+ year old paint down to bare metal and in it first coat of primer.
Its pretty cool here we are July 6, 2024 and we just got it in ultra high deep black paint!

Black is a ballsy choice. Better you than me. Important to note the extent of your skills and expertise. Bodywork, paint and mechanical. Impressive. You don't get that overnight

I have a 59 Apache I want to paint a deep black and put a wide pearl white stripe down the middle. This video gave me some inspiration. Looks really really good. Compliments to the painter, good job. SWEET!

Right?! It's going to be one badass drag car. Ok Dad, it's a badass daily driver/drag car 🤭😁. (Dad's on the fence as to putting a 671 blower on it vs wanting to take it for a cruise and visit.) That's why we're putting in a roll cage. We all know what's gonna happen the minute he floors the pedal for the first time 😁🔥.9

Like a deep pool of crude oil... Amazing to think how a few thousanths of an inch of paint can give the illusion you could drown in it.. Yeah Chris.. You're good..props Stay safe...

Just went back to the begininng of this build.. I had no idea of the amount of work you all put in to get it to this stage... Seriously ? Nice tutorial on how much effort actually goes into a project like this. Laughed when Chris pulled the grill and found all the sand and rocks in the pan. I thought maybe the former owner used it as a bulldozer.. Really nice secquence stitched together I wasn't there for the actual build..but I got to watch the movie. Was sitting in my backyard in the shade watching on my phone...got thru almost all the shorts but had to take a break before my eyeballs fell out. Props to all you guys.. Really.. Sorry this was so long Stay safe

My boy Lou! Dude never apologize for leaving any length of comment here. We love seeing your comments, and we know what we're about to read is going to be some sweet fierce music. You've got skills Lou. I have them saved and I plan to incorporate them into some future videos. The way you tell our story is far better than we could. It really means a lot you've been leaving such dope comments and binging our videos. You've gotten to know us pretty well and it shows ❤️✌️🔥. (those rocks in the pan looked like 💩. I was disgusted when he picked them up 🤢)
