Excellent video Rob. Quick question about your choice or basecoat colour. You said you preferred a grey over a black to avoid such extreme levels of contrast and losing the vividness of the blue. Is that more to do with the larger open and flat areas of this being a tank or if you were to do the same method on an infantry model would also start from a grey rather than a black or navy basecoat?

Thanks man. I've watched the video 4-5 times now, this is my all time favourites ultramarines tutorial and I think I will apply this to infantry as well! Do you think it's doable or smaller surfaces won't do it justice?

@darthrevan4376 if you have a look at a guy called Tabletop Tamo on insta. He's done an entire army using this scheme. If you message him I'm sure he will talk you through his experience. Hope that helps!
