Why do i have to change my audio source to blutooth every time i connect the phone to the radio. Its so annoying to connect the audio to the phone but the blutooth connection is already established.. is there a way for the radio to remember this ??

So I can get mine connected fine and it'll take calls and texts but I can't get it to stream my music from spotify, what am I missing?

The only way I can figure it out, you have to press the voice command button on the steering wheel and say “Bluetooth audio” and then it brings up the screen that actually lets you hear the sound. I can’t find it any other way

@@kb.86 try disconnecting the negative battery terminal and let the car sit for at least 10min. Reconnect and try again. Let me know if that works.

Try doing a hard reboot and pair it over again. You can do that by unplugging the negative from the car battery terminal and let it sit for 10 minutes. Then reconnect the battery terminal and do the pairing process again. Let me know if that fixes it.

Some phones require a permission to be turned on in order to sync contacts. It should ask you permission on your phone when you first pair it. Some don't though.

I just got 2013 Explorer police interceptor - when I push PHONE - it mutes the radio - this indicates SYNC is not installed in our radios. You can spend $800 to upgrade radio to apple Car play and SYNC 3 - or you can buy $20 bluetooth car adapter that uses radio to transmit bluetooth.

That's odd. Hit phone, then menu and then you should see audio settings. See if that has any options.
