Even the male OBT was scared of another OBT he was shaking like a leaf. Good job little guy👍🏻

Happy new year mark . Just what I needed to see I will be pairing the same spiders in a few months. I just need my male to mature first . It seemed like a pretty good pairing , she was very willing .

Great video. I wish you good luck in breeding this species. I am very glad that the male survived and you were not harmed when mating this species of spiders, which have proven themselves to be spiders with a bad temper combined with strong venom. Your subscriber, Ivan. Have a nice day! I have a question for you: at what age is it recommended to mate a female of this species with a male and at what time of the year, if it matters?

Hey Ivan, thank you for your kind comment. It is not really a matter of age, but size. You can check, if the female is mature by checking the spermathecae after a molt. After it has calcified she is ready to go, but it's a good practice to give her a bit more molts to grow, so she won't pass after breeding. And don't forget to give her plenty of food before and after pairing ^^

Nicely done Marc, looked like a good one, poor guy, he looked so scared, he should have realised when she lent back for him he was onto a sure thing lol. Fingers crossed mate 🤞🏻 im still waiting patiently for cambridgei to drop lol

@@tarantuhalla Yeah I know, I had a sling got from Bristol not last year but year before, along with some other pokies and Tapinauchenius but all died 2 days after, all from same seller, who wouldn't return my emails. We live and learn I guess.

@@seansspoods9521 That's quite a coincidence... Psalmos, Tapinauchenius and poekies are not really that fragile as slings.
