In India we celebrate Womenhood not from now but from ages...In my family when in India only 5% women were working in that my grand mother was one, when it became 8% all my aunt's were working, and it is continued till date in my family, and many families across India, Proud to an Indian and an Hindu.

Samee…. My grandma was the only earning hand in her family after her father died. Even tho she was the youngest she got all of her siblings married with the money she earned.. and got married the last.. at the age of 34 around 1960s… WHICH WAS A BIG DEAL back then… a woman getting married soo late.. But the same case was for my grandfather so they understood each other

Whatever was explained by the vedio is what our parents and grandparents taught us when we r young. And Navratri is a very big festival in South India too. As kids we dress up in different avatars of the Divine and visit our neighbours ,sing ,dance and r appreciated for visiting them . We r treated royally 😀 get gifts and sweets and other offerings. We keep Dolls of Divine forms and invite family , friends and neighbours 10 days of fasting, chanting , singing, dressing up in fineries .....list goes on. You have to visit India during the festivals to experience it.

Hinduism is not a religion. It’s a way of life. People while practicing their own religion can also choose this (Hinduism) way of life. And that’s the precise reason Hinduism or for that matter Bhagwat Geeta is based on most practical solutions of life. Everything we follow has a scientific reason behind it. For instance, we don’t get married with cousins. Leave cousins aside we don’t even get married in same gotra (clan). Coz babies born out of such wedlock could have a multiplicity of congenital problems. This is just one small example for your information :)
