Israel provided GPS images to India during Kargil war by going against USA. Russia has provided India with vital technologies in defense and space sector which the West never did. Russia was even ready to provide India with cryogenic engines in the 1990s but was sanctioned by the US. There was a time when India did not have funds to pay for the import of Russian weapons so India supplied Russia with agricultural products in return. This is why Russia and Israel are the closest allies of India.

Hon'ble Inam and Moazzam, No doubt India is quite aware of her national interests. Though America wants India to implement sanctions upon Russia as wanted by America, but America does not press Germany, a member of NATO to stop import of natural gas & petroleum products. Don't you find double standards ? France, a NATO member is also getting natural gas & petroleum products from Russia. No doubt USA is a super power in technology, knowledge & armaments, but She can't force India to accept her dictates. Please ask your PM IK about India's foreign policy. Thanks.

russia and india has historical ties way beyond 1947. did u know that russian language is very much similar , even sometimes exact same to sanskrit. beyond this russia never hates hindu or tries to give lecture to india not interfere in internal affairs or convert people in india to orthodox christianity using rice bags. there is somewhat called connect to hinduism to russian culture. societal bonding ,family bonds and many more such things , act as connecting force with russian people
