In this episode on Tekniq, we shall journey with the locals of Pakistan, procuring gas for their homes using dangerous method of transporting this gas via plastic bags. Furthermore, we will see how flour is processed using the motor of a car. Later, we will see famous Indian and Japanese delicacies being prepared.

I live in Pakistan but never saw this anywhere. Never heard of such a technique. In remote areas where no Gas is available we use cylinders. this must be in the Balochistan region, near the Afghan border.

@@Mainbusfail I use gas under pressure. But I know Bowl-Marute law. I can approximately say how much I need in gas balloon. Here not more than several cubic meters m3, in normal pressure using natural gas for cooking, we need about 40-60m3 per month (without heating home).

that is a local well. the US has over 700.000 of this small contraptions to scatered all over in rural areas servicing both people there and or connecting to somewhere else to sell it. this is in fact a big problem because they are later abandoned when the volume decreases but still continues to leak gas for fucking decades. and sunburn natural gas is one of the worst things to let into the atmosphere. and there are over 100.000 abandoned ones that where not properly disabled and leak or will leak gas. since unlike oil there is no regiment needed a lot of people around the world get their gas form a local well just like they do water. www.eia.gov/dnav/ng/ng_prod_wells_s1_a.htm

@@Trust_but_Verify They don't use these balloons straight away. Once at home, they connect them to a compressor (outside their homes) and then fill gas cylinders. These baloons won't explode because the gas has not been tightly compressed inside them. If somebody would bring a fire-matchstick near them, (which is rare) one would only see a huge flare of fire that lasts for a few seconds. These baloons are useful because people living outside the cities cannot afford to transport empty steel cylinders to cities (for refilling). Transportation is expensive. Balloons on the other hand are very light weight and it is easier for children to take them back to their villages. They walk for a few Miles and reach their homes.

Better they use canister for camping that about 200 grams gas can cook about two hours on single stove. This canister are refillable with simple homemade tools.

Aquí en Venezuela , América del Sur, se utilizan cilindros( bombona) de material resistente ( un metal fuerte)para envasar el gas doméstico.y aún asi han pasado tragedias ( pérdidas de vidas humanas), cuando se producen explosiones de las mismas ya sea por deterioro de los cilindros o bombonas o por el mal manejo de las mismas!, ese gas doméstico es altamente inflamable y explosivo, precaución !!!

Unos 7 días yo estimo. Los cilindros que usábamos en mi casa tienen 30 litros (o eran kilos?) de gas licuado de petróleo y duran más de 6 meses. Esos globos han de tener unos 3 litros máximo y sin comprimir. También depende de la eficiencia de las estufas, la presión del gas, el estado de las tuberías, la cantidad que se cocina... Pero no debe pasar de una semana.

We are truly spoiled in the United States. I first realized that when I visited Europe which was supposed to be very advanced in everything including customer service. Soon, I realized that we have a customer service standard in the US second to none in the world. All these things and conveniences we take for granted in our awesome country, USA, suddenly feel very important once you step foot outside the United States. God bless USA.

@@iseeyou3129 I live in Thailand. I see low wages every day. But you have to look at the economy as a whole. Cheap rents, food and medical care (mostly free) are normal in these countiies, unlike the USA.

The car has a differential. If one wheel spins then the other doesn't. That is how a car can go around corners. The differential lets the wheels spin at different rates.

The bit with the car being use to spin something isn't NEW. We were doing that with an additional rim off the car and sawing lumber when I was a kid. So that's 65 years ago.
