But probably sometimes you get into situations and meet some people that you do not have the nicest experiences. This is what happened in Peshawar, and I was a little upset about it. I felt like there was a better way to handle this from the shop keeper side.

Just abit of a warning bro, Pashtuns/pathans culturally aren’t very camera friendly especially if there are women In the area. Men are hit and miss with this but even if a woman is unrelated to them and she’s in the area they’ll become quite protective and sometimes hostile, otherwise amazing people.

@@viviangonzalez2520 it’s a cultural norm which is the simplest answer, Pashtun culture and the Islamic faith are very closely intertwined however pashtuns are a protective tribal people who are well know for being fearless warriors.

Everyone doesn't want camera in their face for some particular reason or just annoyed at the moment but again everyone is to be respected and move on around because you've found more people wanting to be filmed than the few who didn't...The man said they're not supposed to be selling toy guns they could get in trouble and you did not know that but he could've been a bit kinder telling you that because you pose no threat to them you didn't know...Stay safe🙏

Exactly, Pakistani people are generous and hospitable and Peshawar city is famous for its hospitality, Actually shopkeeper was afraid only because he did not get you and the purpose of filming and he thought the wrong information about him should not be spread that he is an arms dealer.

Assalamu Alaikum davud sir the thing at the start of tge video is called gudd (jaggery in english). It is basically made from solidifying sugarcane juice and it is a healthy altenative for sugar which is good for liver health and digestion.

salaam davud, i have not read all the comments below but wanted to tell you that the person not allowed you to film at his shop because these toy guns are illegal to sell. in karachi city , dont know about this area i think that was the reason that person was not allowing you to film.

The guy in the gun shop showed such a rude behavior. We are so sorry for that. Actually these gun toys are banned and shopkeepers are not allowed to sell them openly as it leaves a negative impact in children's mind. Anyhow you are doing wonderful job. I have to say that what you said was bullshit. real guns are allowed to be made and sold in Pakistan. there's no reason a toy gun isn't allowed to be sold. and what negative impact? you want future children to know nothing about guns and be sheeps. then one day, foreign enemies arrive, and these children cannot fight back? instead, early exposure to guns with proper education to make the children respect the guns is much more preferred. it is to make them know that it's a tool for harvesting food, a tool for defending lives, and a tool to protect your loved ones against foreign threats. If you want peace, prepare for war.

When you visited India, almost all the people you meet can converse with you in English. but here in Pakistan, it's a different story. either they don't know English or don't want to give a damn about English.

so? I think that's a good thing, they aren't slaves to the west, and they wear their own clothes unlike Indians, who wear jeans. I think it's enough that Pakistanis know their ethnic language(depending on their ethnicity), and Urdu(the official language), and some other regional languages, I hope in the future english is removed fully from there, so they can develop on their own, like Iran did, even with all the sanctions, Iran has some of the best doctors in the world.

I studied about the languages and culture in the areas now Afghanistan and Pakistan, and even though they used to be Buddhist and Hindus, the ethnic languages were always the same. Like the areas in Pakistan that speak pashto right now, had pashto as their ethnic language. And for Punjabis it's Punjabi, baluchi for balush people, etc. Sanskrit is not an ethnicity lol.

Dear Davud, Brother, sorry if my advice hurts you. Avoid wearing shorts in Islamic countries especially third world countries as they are culturally very orthodox. That is why children look at you as a joker, Ive seen they all are laughing however its not their fault as they hv been bought up that way. I second that ,Especially in KPK ,we are more conservative and to be going around wearing shorts when islamically short shorts are not allowed is not a good look ,especially more so in a womens market .You will also observe women here cover more so than in say Islamabad .If you went away from Peshawar ,around villages near Mardan ,there it’s even more conservative ,the women cover all ,you only see eyes and you most probably won’t hear Urdu at all .
