中国ws13e推力和寿命等指标确实比俄罗斯rd93强。但是考虑到巴基斯坦有200～300架jf17,给它们更换发动机需要修改硬件和软件，这会是一笔非常大的金钱开支。能让巴基斯坦空军宁可花费巨大开支也要更换优势不明显的ws13e，只有一个可能，那就是中国同意ws13e的技术转让了。再加上，2023年美国同意向印度转移部分航空发动机技术。有理由相信中国会考虑印巴平衡，向巴基斯坦转移发动机技术，让巴基斯坦保持对印度领先。所以，我认为，有充足的理由相信，中国已经同意向巴基斯坦转让ws13e的技术。

PAF had rejected ws13 engine several times before. Now PAF accepted this engine means this engine had successfully upgraded becoming a good engine. PAF used to be very strict on jets they choose.

The plan was to always go for the chinese engine.....it just wasn't mature enough at the time. since then the chinese have development variants of WS-13 and WS-15 engines...

Its WS13e with 100kn wet thrust, better than RD93ma one. At least do some research before posting!

Erm... Wet thrust? May i know what is that? I know dry thrust means jet engine thrust without after burner. 🤔

Let me get this right: Pakistan doesn't want the Russian jet engine and is instead, buying the Chinese copy of that engine? What am I missing?

W13 will be assembled in Pakistan with view to eventually full manufacture in Pakistan, China happy to increase manufacturing resilience, by producing in China and Pakistan, competition lowers costs.

Pak wanted Mirage 2000s engines for JF17s instead of these Mig29 engines. That was right thinking. Now Chinese engines will lead to double mistake lol

@@averagestudent5223 Main purpose of JF17s was to integrate European avionics with European engines. Otherwise for Chinese avionics J10 was already in production, which Pak 'rejected' hehe. So focus must come back to European missiles, with French engines as planned on JF17

PL15s r 'junk' missiles, no one wants to buy those, not even Muslim countries, so leave it for 'junk' J10s. JF17 was designed for European avionics, and best out of that is Meteor. U cant compromise over quality lol

Leave PL15 for J10s, as both r 'garbage'. JF17 was designed to incorporate Western avionics, and best out of that today is Meteor. 'Russian' RD93 was also 'garbage', so Pak wants to replace it with 'Chinese' WS13, which is like committing double mistake. Best option at time of JF17 development was French engine used in Mirage 2000. That shud b chosen if no better option available 😁

Now, will China align with Western aviation electronics companies? Let me tell you, China really looks down on Western aviation electronic devices. Furthermore, you should understand that the engine of Mirage 2000 is not at the same level as WS13E or RD93, and it is also impossible to integrate it into JF17.
