(3.3.24) India is likely to a face decline in exports of basmati rice in 2024 as Pakistan is all set to capture the international market with its competitive prices amid increase in production.
The arch-rival countries are leading exporters of rice, famous for its special aroma and length, to countries such USA, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Iraq and Iran.

I am from Pakistan but I fully agree with you what you have said. Pakistan is way behind India in all spheres of agriculture sector crops, research, volumes, water conservation, etc. The successive governments in Pakistan have destroyed the structure sector from valued less water-intensive to lower-end and high water-intensive crops like Irri-6 and Sugar Cane. Politicians in Sind and Punjab like Sharif Family, Zardair, and Jhenagir Tareen are the key Sugare Mafia in Pakistan and due to their political influence, our cotton crop is going down day by day. We are forced to import wheat due to illogical and wrong policies of successive governments. On the other side, the Indian cotton crop which was much smaller than our crop in 1947 is exporting cotton to Pakistan. We have no comparison with India which needs to first feed its own 1.4 Billion people and then export its surplus which they are doing successfully for so many years. As a Pakistani, my suggestion to Brother Abdul REhmanis that please do some logical analyses, and do some research before making your V-Logs. Doing Volgs for promotion feel good factor based on wrong and incorrect assumptions is in fact a disservice to our own people. Only share the authentic facts and promote objectivity even if it's not favorable and does not create a feel-good factor. I have seen many Pakistani and Indian V-loggers unnecessarily drag India and Pakistan into their V-Logs to increase their viewership instead of focusing on their internal issues which prompts comments from the other side of the borders and starts a war of words.

Since months there is food inflation in india so india has banned rice and wheat export to controll inflation. Wto, UN, europe, america, africa etc have told india to end ban on export and sell rice and wheat again which india has refused citing domestic inflation. جناب بھارت اب ایکسپورٹ کے معاملے میں بہت آگے نکل چکا ہے۔۔وہ غذائی اجناس کے معاملے میں سب سے پہلے اپنی عوام کو ترجیع دیتا ہے جو فالتو بچ جائے وہ تب ایکسپورٹ کرتا ہے۔۔جب کہ پاکستان کے پاس اور ہے ہی کیا ایکسپورٹ کرنے کو ۔۔پچھلے دنوں ہاکستان میں پیاز کی قیمتں بھی اس لیے آسمانوں کو چھو رہی تھیں کہ بھارت خلیجی ممالک کو پیاز ایکسپورٹ نہیں کر رہا تھا جب کہ پاکستانی پیاز ہر جگہ دستیاب تھا جبکہ پاکستان میں غریب عوام مہنگے ترین داموں پیاز خرید رہی تھی ۔۔اور اسکا فائدہ مافیا اٹھا رہا تھا۔۔

India sent tons of rice for free to Afghanistan, Srilanka and other countries in need. India had banned export of the rice coz there were few countries who were taking rice from India and stocking it to sell it later when the international rice price would go high due to shortage. Why shortage coz those countries were stocking millions of tons to create shortage. Hence India decided to ban rice exports. When the international community asked India to export rice and remove the ban then India replied stating that we will export rice on request of individual countries and not leave it open for anyone to buy coz then those countries won't get rice to stock it....

Go to school and stop lying. Indian rice is most exporter in world. India is largest producer of basmati rice and of best quality. It doesn't need to resell paxtan product.

@@amirkhalid7915Don't you know India banned rice export many months ago to decrease high price of rice within India. Look at the export of IT and technology in India which is increasing rapidly. Our government cares about own public whereas exporting rice will increase the inflation within Pakistan which is already high in Pakistan. Gain some knowledge and for your information India is the largest rice producing country. In case of export India comes first then Thailand And Vietnam.

Indian news me paxtan only comes on terrorism topic. Unlike paxtan where rice, ambani, IPL, Bollywood, modi, yogi all internal indian fields is hot news topic in paxtan. India is largest producer of basmati rice and that of highest quality. 70% of export of basmati rice to world comes from india. Since months there is food inflation in india so india has banned rice and wheat export to controll inflation. Wto, UN, europe, america, africa etc have told india to end ban on export and sell rice and wheat again which india has refused citing domestic inflation. Till elections are over in India, india won't export any rice, till then India doesn't care who exports who doesn't

They already get most benifit which no where in world gives. They want more coz elections is coming and they want aap to win so targeting modi nothing else. As soon as election is near it will be over. Also they are demanding 50% hike in all crop prices and asking govt to pay, they also want govt to give them free electricity, loan waiver, fertilizer, pension, salary etc..nowhere in world anybody gives pension and salary to farmers.
