Those who might not notice it, to be able to play a slower delivery from Akhtar was almost impossible because of how good it was due the speed difference. If you could launch a rocket at 155 and then roll your fingers over to release that same rocket at 110, you will be blind sighted as a batsman. Coming from someone who plays the game. Your batspeed alteration has to be like God to be able to time a slow ball with an average difference of 40 kmph. Hatsoff to this legend. The "BADMAASH" of pace bowling.

Not sure if it's just me but as much as I like Shoaib as a person, just can't help noticing his bent arm while bowling.I believe it was within the norms but it definitely helped him generate that extra bit of pace when needed.And the degree of bend varies from delivery to delivery. It's as if, bends more to generate that zip in the delivery.Not sure whether it was legal or not.
