Thanks for showcasing one of the best spots in my hometown! My dad was one of the workers that actually built that restaurant back in 56. It was also the place to be on Friday and Saturday night cruises...se4een and be seen...those were good times for sure!! This video made my mouth water for some good food...great video!❤❤❤

I love this. When I was in my 20's, I became manager of a sub shop. The owner had to sell and I became half owner. I was so proud of that shop and expanded the business into catering and extra menu items. I had to close after 4 years due to the economy, and I went on to college and got an engineering degree, but will always remember my sub shop.

All that food for under twenty dollars. Wow! Love the rooster on the shirt. PLUS, I'm a Miracle Whip girl. My mother always called it mayonnaise.

I just got through eating Pal's. I live in Greeneville and they have a sit down Pal's. The BBQ dog is the best thing in my opinion

Few Pals "secrets" you weren't aware of. At the 2 walk in locations in Kingsport you can get a Peanut Butter milkshake. They don't offer them at any of the drive thru locations. Pals serves Burgers in the early AM. Great for folks coming off of a night shift at Eastman Chemical who might not want breakfast food. You can't get the frenchy fries however. They serve cheddar rounds in the morning in lieu of the fries. Some would say that cheddar rounds are their favorite Pals menu item.

Glad to hear Bobbi is now team Duke's.

And I stuck around until the end. Thanks. I also googled them, and they have quite a few locations in Tennessee and some in Virginia. Great video.

You were in my neck of the woods! You need to try the sauceburger sometime. I prefer that one myself. You can ask for the frenchie fries without seasoning. I have never had a shake, but I heard they are yummy. As far as who is busier, the Pal's that is next to the Sonic on E. Stone Drive, they are equally busy. The chik-fil-a across the street is busiest though. Thanks for another great video!!!

I love Pal’s ! We stop at the one on VA exit 17, Abingdon VA, on our way to and from the Smokies every single time! The service is amazing, the restaurant is immaculate as you can see through the window as you drive through, and most importantly the food is delicious! We always get the Junior Double with cheese, we feel like that burger has a better flavor than the bigger burger. This is my favorite burger at any restaurant, anywhere, and I even emailed them to tell them how much I enjoy their food! Also, if you haven’t tried their cheddar rounds, which are only served at breakfast time, you must, they are delicious! It’s very rare to find such excellent food and service in fast food anywhere these days like is found at Pal’s! Another great video! Thanks! 👏🏻

We are a Duke’s family. Never heard of it until we moved south but use it now. This is an excellent video. Food really looked good. I like that you are showing us places that we can go to when traveling.

Just stumbled across your channel. So cool you did Pal's! I live here in Kingsport. That location and the one on Lynn Garden Dr (the other that you mention) are the first two, and the ONLY two you can get their peanut butter milkshakes, which are to die for. I get double peanut butter and the hubby gets peanut butter & chocolate blended. Frenchie fries are awesome with that seasoned salt. But you missed out on trying the chipped ham & the big chicken. Also, at breakfast, cheddar rounds are an absolute MUST. Pal Barger was such a good man and a true treasure to Kingsport.

We go to the Pal's in Jefferson City, TN. Always good. But try going for breakfast and getting those Cheddar Rounds. Sooo good. I'm a Duke's guy myself, but will use JFG mayo as an alternative and HQ'd in Knoxville, TN

looks fantastic. I love a good burger and hot dog restaurant. On your next trip to Ohio, stop in Bucyrus for a bratwurst sandwich or Waldo for a fried bologna sandwich. Also, check out Put-in-Bay and try a walleye sandwich.

Great video and it was fine when I watched it. My sister lived in the Tri-Cities area for years and we always went to Pal’s when we visited her. I liked their sweet tea and chili dogs. I live in FL and no place has chili dogs. No place has good enough chili for a chili dog. Chili, mustard, and onions. Love it! The Pal’s you show at the end is the one I’m familiar with. By the way, maybe I don’t have a delicate palate but to me Kraft, Hellman’s and Duke’s Mayo all taste the same. I don’t like Miracle Whip.

Been dying for a hotdog! Did the chili sauce have beans? The burger looks pretty big . This is a cute lil place - so nice and prices are fine! I mean, look at all you got for just over $21+! I love their motto. In the deep south, they generally do have chili and cole slaw on burgers, hotdogs, everything. LOL I don't mind that as long as there are no beans involved (like Texas is a no-bean chili type of state). I like the vitamins in the drink, but no to the caffeine. hehe When I lived in Tuscaloosa, I think that was the last time I had Duke's. That was decades ago!

I wish they’d expand to Knoxville. Not sure if they ever will. I could see In-n-Out coming here once they open in Nashville.

Really love this resteraunt! Both locations! Another local resteraunt!!! Glad he kept it simple! Love the BBQ, chili burger and hot dog, but the Big Pal I would love the best. Frenchies look good too. But the drive-thru building is really cool! The blue color with the burger, fries and drink built into the building love it! I love SONIC but I would go to PAL'S!!!!
