Paladins Added SUMOS With This LTM and... it sucks.

The most recent Paladins LTM is called Caut Lacking, and it's also lacking in enjoyment. This mode answers the hypothetical question: how would Paladins feel without cauterize? Simply put, all healing is permanently reduced by 35% in this mode, and cauterize will never ramp up further. This turns Paladins into a slug fest where healing is king, and nothing ever dies! So basically, Sumos!

This mode is like playing a triple A game, fun on the first time, a slog to do the second and more times

This mode is an "ult fest", which is indeed quite like like OverWatch. I wish all supports had low healing and there was no cauterize, though. Like before Mal'Damba. I don't think Jenos is a bad healer, I think people are spoiled in this game where a support can get 1 or 2 tanks to full with a single click.

@@Mia199603 Now with that shield and movement speed in his loadout Jenos, in ,y honest estimation, is a great healer/support character now.

As a jenos main he does get outplayed by big burst healers BUT his new cards for the mark have been truly amazing. It’s not the 10% increased damage but the increased movement speed paired with void grip cooldown paired with the 20% on eliminations is somewhat the mark spam from last season. Just have to use grip more often and play more aggressively with the tanks or a flank.

Not to mention that supposed hotfix for the current Trials of the Realm challenges did nothing. Still having some challenges reset after finishing them is not good.

They need to bring back jenos old heal talent. He used to burst heal so much when he had the talent. Now it’s basically dumb to choose jenos unless it’s double heal

I was really looking forward to the Jenos buff but the shield he gives is really underwhelming (5-8K in a 15 min match) and I don’t really feel like the speed boost does much for the team. His healing is still very much atrocious🤷‍♂️

Just had one in my last match, it was a wall/aimbot hacking Kinessa. Three of my teamates noticed because the cheater wasn’t even hiding it at that point, after the match we called him/her out, reported her, the cheater was typing stuff like “yayayayayay” and “zzzzz”. Guess what, a few matches later, there they were again. I’m telling you, the report system in paladins is USELESS

@@doctor-z-deadline8500 while yes the report system is useless the real problem is the anti cheat its basically non existent and lets cheaters do whatever they want its infuriating.

@@doctor-z-deadline8500 I can't agree with you. I play 10-15h a week, report players mainly for afk, then harassment then feeding and I get at least 10 "an action has been taken" notifs a week. If you genuinely expect them to ban players in 15 minutes after you've reported them, then dream on. No support is this efficient because it's impossible, and it takes a moment to actually review the case of cheating rather than trust you on your word (that'd be so easy to abuse istg). You're asking for an automatic ban system and that'd be a disaster too. I remember the ban system 7-8 years ago and that was truly nonexistent, night and day honestly.

Well, the game is officially dead. Ranked is down, and now casuals are unplayable aswell. There's no other possible way you can play this game. All the dev team has been doing is trying to please us with a 2 week off competitive and a ridiculous furry fan ficthey released with the new update. The dev team is mostly silent, they dont answer, barelly interact, wether it is in reddit, steam, twitter, or youtube. It is no surprise the community is all leaving and soon i predict the game migth actually shut down for good.

I think Andrew is somehow paid/sponsored by Paladin. Literally no video/protest or anything about server fault. Other game streamer are the 1st who protest about in game problems, but here totally silence. GOOD CONTENT CREATER NOT ONLY TELL ABOUT GOOD, ALSO TELL ABOUT THE BAD THINGS AND ATTRACT THE ATTENTION OF DEVELOPERS TO FIX BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE.
