Can people stop hating? Most of you commenting about how "unoriginal" and "bad" this is have probably never heard their old stuff. Palate Royale is an extremely talented and unique band, and just because you hear one song you don't like doesn't mean they "suck" Keep up the great work guys, the Soldiers of the Royal Council love you and we're sticking with you through these new fans and new haters :)

I love the fact that they got signed but now that they did it's going bring a whole new wave of fans and new 'haters' if that's what you want to call them. But I will say that if you are a new fan and this is the first song you heard by them I recommend you listen to some songs from their EP also because in my opinion those are 100x better than this. But I will also say that if you don't like them in general don't waste your time talking shit about them, just close the video and go listen to music you do enjoy, it's not that hard. They worked hard to get to where they are right now and I very highly doubt that people talking shit about them is going to stop them because they love what they do and it shows.

I saw them when they went on tour with Ghost Town:3 I find it to be pretty radd that they're playing with I See Stars just like they did lol also ever since I bought the ep I swear on my life I listen to it like everyday. It just put me in a good mood, like I can't be pissed off listing to that ep xD

I screamed when they played this last night. It's such a fun, upbeat song! I danced the whole time. Meeting them was quite a treat, too--I still can't believe how sweet and down-to-earth they all are; Emerson and Sebastian nearly cried when I gave them a poem I wrote for them!

I love shit like Periphery, AA, Veil Of Maya, BoO etc. but you gotta admit this is pretty damn catchy. Can't lie, they are talented, but that doesn't mean you HAVE to like them just because Sumerian signed them. Nah b it isn't just you. When I have panic attacks around my friends they play Morning Light and it calms me down almost instantly. For some reason Remi's voice is so nice that it pulls me out of bad places.

havoren This song probably started out its life as just "messing around with guitar and drums". I mean, that's how songs are written. By no means am I saying this as an insult, but I understand that it's hard to find the beauty in the complexity of a genre like progressive metal if you aren't accustomed to hearing complex music in the first place. I get where you're coming from; I used to have the same viewpoint. That said, to generalize all prog artists as being "soulless" is an insult to music itself. People like, say, David Maxim Micic as an example, pour their hearts and souls into their music.
