Enjoy this compilation i made for one of the most iconic rally cars, the Lancia Stratos HF Group 4. The Stratos was born in 1972 to collect the legacy of the Fulvia HF in rallies. The car, however, exceeds all expectations by putting aside an incredible record with champions such as Munari nationally and worldwide. Is the Stratos the best sounding rally car ever?

A design never to be repeated. What a fabulous car and what a fabulous company and brand. Rallying running through their veins. On my must have list if I win the lottery definitely. Absolutely love them. Italy at its very best. Bravo..

This is an very interesting car!!!! Why do the kit cars not have parts from Lancia?????? For me one of the cars of the 70s and 80s is the Opel Ascona 400, especially in the hands of the amazing Walter Röhrl. An other car who is dear to me is the Audi Quattro S1 E2. On top is for me the Peugeot 205 T16 E2. Everything about this car is amazing. I would love to have an replica of the 1986 car!!!

The designer of the Stratos, Ing. Nicola Materazzi, has passed away yesterday, August 23rd 2022. During his distinguished career he also designed other iconic cars like the Ferrari F40 and others. RIP.

The Stratos would've also made a perfect "Back to the Future" time machine. Imagine this thing with all the high tech doodads like flux capacitor, mr fusion etc and then flying in hover mode. And it definitely wouldn't have a problem reaching 88mph.

Wonderful machine. An absolute monster to drive, and it's definitely not a car to suffer fools gladly. A bit like a thoroughbred racehorse - if you mess it about it'll throw you and stamp on your head, but if you know what you're doing it's one hell of a ride. And that braying, bellowing engine sound... 🎵 Fantastic! :-)

Hi, the engine was a V6 Ferrari from the Dino 246GT with 2.4 liters, 12 valves 280hp street version, and 24 valves 320hp race version, 5 gears.

Ahora mismo los 2 únicos coches que me vienen a la cabeza que fueron fabricados exclusivamente para competir en Rally son el Ford RS200 y el ícono del WRC el siempre fantástico Lancia STRATOS (con una carrocería diseñada por el estudio de Bertone y motorizado por la Ferrari ¿se puede pedir mas)

@@eun5oo280 Not replica, but some have custom exhausts that double the frequency of the exhaust sound by connecting the headers into 1 pipe instead of 2 (6 to 1 headers), making them sound more like V12s which naturally do that 6 to 1. Which funnily enough means if you ever wanted your v12 to sound like a bulkier V6, you just split the headers into 4 separate pipes, making 3 to 1 headers for each pipe.
