Amazing, Yakusho plays the role of his life... even if he doesn't speak at all. The scene in the small bar, where the lady sings, is one of the best scenes ever seen.

昨日見てきました自分が清掃の仕事してたので、自分が主人公になっている感覚でーもつとも、平山３とは、大違いの適当清掃員弟子だよ～でも時間に起きて同じ電車に乗り毎日の生活は平山さんと同じでしたな〜また音楽が最高にいい味出してました。最初の曲🎶朝日の当たるいえかなぁと？最後の平山さんの涙そして微笑みは？と考えさせられる映画でした～又見たいです🧓

Google翻訳を使用しています。エンディングの涙と笑顔は映画全体を芸術的に表現していると思います。平山はシンプルな生活の中に平安と満足感を見出しました。こもれびを見たときと、毎朝うれしそうに見上げる姿の2パターンで描かれています。どちらも彼は微笑みます。彼に何が起こっても、次の瞬間でも、次の日でも、彼は常に笑顔になる方法を見つけていることに注目してください。おそらくあのラストシーンは、彼の今が満足であるという「今は今」を強調するために示されたのかもしれない。 I am using Google Translate. I believe the tearing and smiling at the ending is an artistic representation of the whole movie. Hirayama has found peace and contentment in his simple life. It is shown two ways, one is from when he sees Komorebi and the other is every morning he looks up with joy. Both of which he smiles. Notice that whatever happens to him he always finds a way to smile whether in the next moment or the next day. Maybe that last scene was shown to put an emphasis on the "Now is now" wherein his now is contentment. 🙏💜

Con éste film me quedo confirmado que el cine es una droga. Las drogas,las mejores, son las que te cambian la manera de sentir nuestra relación con el tiempo. Y exactamente eso fue lo que me hizo este film ,el tiempo lo sentí mucho más lento y hasta hubo momentos que lo ví que se detenía. Como es un film casi sin argumento ,eso mismo resalta la forma ,sumamente bella ,en que está contada la historia. Y esto hacia que mi atención se concentrara en las distintas acciones del protagonista y está concentración era tal que me ayudaba a anular el futuro y el pasado.Cuando salí del cine el viento arrastraba unas hojas y yo me di cuenta que aún no había salido de la película...

I didnt like it a lot at first, but started growing a lot inside me. the possibility of a new start, even when your past life is chasing you, its a very moving message. focus on the important things, and even further: focus on what you think important things are. we all can make the world a nicer place from our little, discreet lifes. hearing again this song also made me remember one of my greatest friends, who passed in 2020, and had a beautiful pale blue eyes. I really hope he's doing well, and that he doesnt forget me neither.

Honest work is enobling, and noble interests might include books/reading, a developed taste in music, horticulture and tree-photography, and a routine that inludes good sleep habits. Understated, goodintellectuals are the best company, everybody loves them. The movie reminded me of (a) Albert Einstein and (b) The Hedgehog.

テレビもパソコンも風呂も洗濯機もない自宅。カメラと読書と盆栽。いい生活をしているなあ。でも二つ気になることがあった。いつもの店で焼酎を飲んだあと自転車で帰宅する、あれは酒気帯び運転で交通違反です。それとベンチに腰掛けて木漏れびを見ながらサンドイッチを素手で掴んで食べるのだが、入念に手荒いはしたのだろうかと、いらぬ気使いをした。それでも心に残る良い映画だった。
