Paleowolf - Entelodon (Cenozoic, 2021)

"Entelodon" is a single that represents and announces Paleowolf's new full length album named "Cenozoic", to be released by Prometheus Studio in 2021. This track will appear on the upcoming album alongside other tracks dedicated to many prehistoric animals, as a continuation to the "Megafauna Rituals". Track available for download at:

Once a mighty beast, Entelodon(t) was one of the fiercest pig-like prehistoric mammals. Its largest family member (discovered so far) was Daeodon, whose name roughly translates as "dreadful teeth". Standing up to 2.1m (6.9 ft) tall at the shoulder, this animal roamed the Palaeoamerican continent, displaying the powerful jawbone with a face studded with thick bones. Although mainly a herbivore, Entelodon's fearsome appearance was a sight to behold.This track is a part of totemic revival of powerful creatures from the era long lost and forgotten. With powerful tribal drums, horns, didgeridoos and native instruments, we are channeling the wilderness of the Prehistoric thundra.

Can't wait to see what the other animals are! I've always loved prehistoric mammals more than dinosaurs, but they get so little recognition compared to them. Thanks for this electrifying track!

The new album will be consisted of 10 tracks, with 9 representing a mammal totem, and one dedicated to a very special bird. I can only tell you that Megatherium and Deinotherium are included - but don't spread the word!

@@BrumeNoire I will have to disagree as Jurassic World Dominion hasn’t come out yet, and so far, the Jurassic Franchise movies haven’t been that bad at all, Jurassic Park 3 and Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom have been silly sure compared to the rest being the two worst ones, but they are still good enough that they could be a lot worse. But anyway, I can agree with everything else.

i love how you make songs of herbivores, mostly large ones that have kind of migrating lifestyles a more slow and trance like beat. Almost matching their speed of life. and with more aggressive animals like the entelodon the music is a lot more aggressive too, to match their lifestyle. its an amazing detail.

Entolodon, the famous "pork of hell" 2 meters long and 300 kls of strength, until an American lion of the caverns hesitated to hunt, this excellent music represents decently and faithful which could have been this predatory machine.

old worlds hold countless specters ..endless echo's of the past... to seed gardens in new shapes of ancient essence that it may cast of those not respecting it and blossom free into wilderness of endless bounty once more.... do love this kind of orchestral instrument/voice 'instruments' tunes....opens the way for so much more 'emotion' and colour for people to give shape to ther own thoughts with..

I agree. Though the biggest feeling I get from this composition is this deep Abe's Oddworld vibe. It reminds me so much of the levels in the ancestral vaults, with a similar ambiance !

I've already done that. "Primal Earth" is the name of the album. Although tracks are not named by the animals like this one. Digital album download from bandcamp includes a pdf which leads the listener through the detailed narrative.
