Still remember that time I was exploring a Permian forest and saw a megasecopteran just chilling on a tree. I think it was of the species Corydaloides scudderi. Beautiful sight!

Can you make a part two of this? This has to be one of the most powerful things to listen for meditation, training and overall life. I know you said all your paleowolf music is meditative. Im not sure what music you are producing right now. But a part 2 would be greatly appreciated.

Hoe awful 😖. Was really enjoying this then an advert woke me up. Bad show considering most listening want a respite from EXACTLY this. Very sad.

Whenever I feel down this music lifts me up. It doesn't make me happier, just grittier. And that is all that is needed sometimes.

Some people have commented on how this music reminds them of a time when humanity was one with nature and they then describe a vision of a past that reminds one of fairy tales where the trees give to us freely, animals co-exist in a pattern of life and death, and humans are little more than some variation of the "noble savage". Some people look at that vision and say that such a thing is unrealistic and out of touch with how the past really was. I wish to put forward something more balanced. Back in the ages of stone and bone, humanity was indeed more on par with other animals, just as likely to hunt as well as be hunted. Life was indeed brutal and short and very little of that harsh reality can be easily romantized without the view of being naive. And yet, i feel it is wrong to acknowledge the harsh of that distant past without acknowledging the beautiful truths of that time that are indeed lost to us. Back in that dark and fearful age, man was as we are today, able to dream and plan and think of what could be, though likely they didn't have as much time to do so as we do now. What dreams must they have had? What futures did they envision for their children? Did some of them even think of something like our world? One where humanity stands at the top of the food chain and resolutely holds that position? Back in those days, humanity was closer to nature, not just in terms of danger but also mentally, spiritually, and culturally. It was a time of simplicity where a deer could provide enough for one family to be happy or at least satisfied and there were no bills, no taxes, no cars and car mechanics, no phones, no mortgages and no rent, no food shortages and inflating economies. In that time, one meal was enough to find satisfaction. One fire was the same as a house or apartment. One clan or family was the same as an entire city. In that day, only a little was needed for a lot. And if all this isn't enough to convince you that those days had more to them than just a romantic view from our future of their past, then consider how many of us try to get away from our city based lives every so often. How many want to live on private islands or spending the weekend camping or to go hiking and hunting with our friends? In other words, how many of us like to remind ourselves of something that they had back then by being around nature all the time that we no longer do in our world of concrete, steel, and plastics? Our world is ultimately better than theirs, or at least more advantageous, and so I would much rather live my life as I do right now, but I do think that there is something back then that I do wish was more prevalent now. Maybe we can still learn about how to get it back some day. 🙂

Very interesting. This word is used from Proto-Indo-European vocabulary. I started studying the cultures of prehistoric Europe, it turns out that this name h₁eh₂ter-, (*h₁n̥gʷnis,) was taken by Paleowolf for a reason. I love this group for such deep references to our ancestors.❤

That's right. The entire album track names (all four tracks) are Proto-Indo-European words, modified in a sense to seem more comprehensible and closer to modern linguistics, and also to not confuse the KZfaq. Glad you're enjoying it.

I used to listen to this years ago when I was first exploring psychedelics. I'm now near 40 and refining those insights with meditation and prayer. There is something irrepressible about the primal aspects of human nature that call to us in the modern age, and music is a clarion call to the youth inside us all. Thank you for what you've created and contributed to the human experience.

If ever the humming music or drums fails to draw you into the time period of the ambience, the elephant/mammoth calls at 10:56 just shunt you right there. I love this track so much...

For someone with an obsession to the primordial world. I've never felt more of a connection to the primal world than when I listen to this music. It fills me with a love for nature as well as an almost eery side to it. I can't wait to play this music at a campfire in the woods.

I am here after witnessing the 2024 Solar Eclipse. I now understand why the ancients worshipped the sun. The eclipse lasted about 3 minutes in my area, the temperature actually dipped a few degrees and I got cold. You realize how precious the sun is; the warmth, the beauty, the enabler of life. Do not take anything for granted, not even the sun's rays. I remembered this track after the whole experience. Thank you #Paleowolf for adding a layer of beauty to this moment. I cannot stop listening to this track after what I witnessed.

So I have this really really weird dream lately. See, I see the world being covered in endless snow. People were dying left and right. The Trickster god lead an army of undead. Half rotted woman followed him. Giant snake killed the thunder. One eye man eaten by a wolf. And a burning man with a sword is standing in the middle of the mass fire.
