"Paraceratherium" is a track from the newly released full length album "Cenozoic", channeling the prehistoric animalism in pure form through the totemic representation of creatures that once roamed the ancient Earth. Paraceratherium (name meaning "Near the Hornless Beast"), also known as Indricotherium, is a genus of large hornless rhinoceros. Paraceratherium was the largest terrestrial mammal of all time; taller, larger, and heavier than an African elephant. A fully grown adult male stood over 23 feet (7 m) tall, taller than an adult giraffe, and weighed as much as 15 tons (33,000 lbs.), which is equivalent to 8 modern rhinos. Being as large as they are is not only a protection from predators, but it also means that in a dry landscape, their size allows them to go without food or water for days. Paraceratherium was a solitary animal, only getting together with others during mating season, but also occasionally encountering and traveling with other Paraceratherium in dire need of food and water during a drought.

@Super David Héros Thank you for your words. And yes, the main "beat" drums were partially focused on channeling the very walk of the animal through the immense ancestral thundra.

Wonderful music. Very absorbing and actually seems to stir the creative broth (in me at least). Paraceratherium lived throughout the Oligocene (34-23mya), an enormous rhinoceros-ish creature that would perhaps have lived like a gigantic rhinelephant in a relatively arid world, although its distribution suggests that it could cross bodies of water. (Ctrl-Vd from Wikipedia): The shoulder height was about 4.8 metres (15.7 feet), and the length about 7.4 metres (24.3 feet). Its weight is estimated to have been about 15 to 20 tonnes (33,000 to 44,000 lb). The long neck supported a skull that was about 1.3 metres (4.3 ft) long. It had large, tusk-like incisors and a nasal incision that suggests it had a prehensile upper lip or proboscis (trunk).
