Palestinians in Khan Younis city, where Israel withdrew leaving a huge destruction, return to the city that resembles a pile of rubble and search for their remaining belongings in the rubble of their homes.
Amine Umran, who was forced to leave her home and migrate to Rafah, said that they came to their houses, which were heavily damaged in the attacks, hoping to get their children's belongings from among the ruins.
Hale Jaroun, who said that she was horrified by the scene she encountered when she returned to her home after the attacks, stated that even if they return to Khan Younis, they do not have a home to live in.
Speaking in front of the rubble of the house where she lived with her siblings, Nimet Muheymer stated that they did not see these experiences in the Nakba in 1948. The old woman, who tried to console herself by saying "God does not forget anyone", said that Israel wanted to destroy their homes and cities and added "Everyone who lived here were civilians, but all their houses were destroyed".
