One of the best sermons I've ever heard. What a combination of humor, seriousness, and scholarship, reflecting love of God and trust in Christ-- and the importance of loving those to whom one ministers as an essential, constant basis for one's "missionary work" whatever it is in God's plan for us. And recognizing that discouragement is a beginning, a starting point in Christ. I wish I had the text of the sermon.

Celinda, maybe I'll try to transcribe it... But I absolutely agree -- it was a wonderful sermon, and I think that Fr McConnell will be an exceptional bishop. Thanks for your comments, and do keep following our video!
