I love how she captures the emotions of the “sweetest pain” of loving someone who does you no good. She’s right - love is torture. You can fall for someone who can captivate your soul but destroy your mind. Bittersweet. Beautiful lyrics and a truly underrated song. I like your interpretation but I think it's more about denying the true consuming power love can have over us. She wants to pretend she isn't at her lover's mercy but the more she resists it the more power it has over her - the more you struggle the tighter it's hold on you. Been together with Romanian for 20 years, yes, but had a very good job, was young, we got married in 2011. 2 daughters 16 and 20 unfortunately I hardly see them. Also brought her brother here to work, also such a good job now, doesn't even look at me anymore, with everything I've done for him, he didn't understand the warmth pfff...😢 In addition, a lot of stuff from (ex) both of them every day pain and memories. Miss her so much but checkered everywhere, Lots of clothes, everything isn't there yet, she left soon, NL passport, NL driver's license, own company, I was only there for her! Woman happy i am happy I am the only one on that ask why i am still living? I miss Romania a lot, food processor, music, culture, everthing! This i really go too miss hard! Don't let me be alone ❤ But I miss all my family the most😭 why i still life for what?😢😢💔💔

I think whoever was director of photography got it bang right, the reason he is all black (black hair, skin dark eyes etc) and she is mostly white (Caucasian, blonde) its ment to show yin and yang, the two sides of a relationship n all that...he could have just decided the colour of clothes but they went even further and went with physical appearance as well, I think its pretty fucking good tbf.
