Another tip for this, if you catch them instead of killing them you can get their loot twice. You get it once just by catching them, the same as you would just killing them, but if you catch them you can then butcher them and get their loot a second time!

Great video, works like a charm. Hope your channel pops! Here my observation after some testing: I found it better to just raise a wide and high large wall behind him instead of closing him in - my pals would refuse to attack and miss most attacks since they couldnt see him. Letting loose a full base on him permanently crow controls him and he doesn't get an attack off anyway. This also enables you to kill him with weaker pals - I'd recommend level 30 for your times sake though. Immediately fast traveling does not always immediately respawn him - I'd recommend choose a teleport far away and giving it at least 10 seconds in between runs. It's also favorable to use high level pals that don't take much food - they all get super hungry after each fight. Lastly, if youre gonna be abusing this clearly unintended farm method anyway, do yourself a favor and push the drop rates up - drops then about 35k per kill.

Haha, well I'm tapped on bases at this point but it's such a short run that it's still viable with Fenglope to just merc him with an AR and Lifmunk with recoil in seconds. I'll be heavily abusing this today to farm cash for ammo and oil. Confirmed still working and no fast travel required. You can simply leave the draw distance area and he’ll respawn. I’m just doing loops killing him now and grabbing the egg spawns for things to sell LOL.

If you have access to higher level spheres, you can capture the merchants to use as a worker on base to buy the Hi Quality Pal Oil en masse when you have the need and funds

Great Video. For anyone that wants to farm these guys early on without a lot of high lvl pals: place one of the hanging traps and after that a campfire under him. before he dies from the fire hit him once with a bow or melee attack so it counts as a kill ( otherwise wont drop items) can also use this to catch him u can shoot him or hit him while trapped. release him on low hp and he wont aggro:)

Tip if you're still on early-mid game as I was when I got there by accident: You can just place 3 or 4 campfires near him, build 4 walls around, hit him once from above, and he will start running against the walls around, getting killed by fire while you're totally safe outside. This method doesn't require an extra Pal box, and you can do it since start if you get to that place. :) Hope it helps

I’d venture to say that having an automated ore farm and making nails to sell to merchants would be faster - but this video was great regardless of that. Like someone else said, if possible, I would try catching them once or twice per kill just in case so you could potentially double your loot. If you don’t care about wasting your spheres, of course, it’s better to catch them every time. But 😅

For some reason merchants have never spawned for me in the desert village. Hopefully it’s just a glitch. The games is still in early development, I caught jetragon in heat resistance metal armour and a giga shield, no weapons because ammunition is actually fairly scarce with how much resources it costs. Luckily my shadowbeak and with 2 legendary spheres I caught jetragon as my first legendary.

I think its better to use that extra base as an ore farm and sell nails with the ore. That way you get lots of money and can use ur ore for resources as well without having to constantly teleport.

if your max level just kill the merchant by desolate church he's parma level 40 and drops 30-45k each time. Just Kill > return to title > start game rinse and repeat, it's faster and no need to build a base.

If you're too low level to fight one, Build a hanging trap, place it just under a single foot of the black marketeer, build a campfire overlapping. I've had better success on the left side of the trap to get it in a buildable overlapping position and actually burn the marketeer. Walk out of render distance, walk back, repeat. I got 50k gold in like 10 minutes. It's not quite as efficient, but it works at very low levels.

i was cool and it's technicaly not a bug so it's legit, i will do it EDIT: i have been farming fo 3H straight i have orserk 2 dazzi and a rotation of pal to exp in my team while doing it, i also put a stone mine on the side to remake the broken walls when they fall. All of this let me reduce my farm to the minimum since i can just buy egs and and milk from the marchant i captured

the fastest way to get gold is through selling nails.

Now there is even a faster way is to craft nails and sell them and duping ingots to craft more nails then selling those nails to the merchant

Other way, Ore farm and craft nails and sell them to the merchant. 10 nails (5 ore) = 1.2k gold. (1 nail = 120gold).

I just sell stacks of nails to get my gold and that works really well for me, but atleast this way, you wont burn through all your ingots!

if you build an ore base you pretty much get infinite ingot. Make nails, sell to merchant and make several hundred thousand in passive gold
