PalWorld First Impressions | Is Palworld just a ripoff of other games?

Palworld is a game I didn't pay any real attention to because it was described as "Pokemon with guns" right up until 3 days before launch when I watched a trailer on stream and went from not caring to being 300% sure I had to play this new game.
There has been a lot of "controversy" surrounding PalWorld's similarity to other games. Is it true? Well being a "many talented" individual like myself means I just happen to be familiar with all of the games involved so I decided to see how they stack up against each other and find out if there is any merit to these claims.

Actually, from what I remember, in the book, they originally called the Monster Adam. I could be wrong, though.

"I ought to be thy Adam" - Victor Frankenstein This appears to be more of a biblical reference than any form of formal naming. Without more context it would also appear that Victor is referring to himself as Adam which put into context as part of the creation myth would mean that the monster would be "Eve" in this case which would be a decently apt metaphor as Eve was created from the rib of Adam she was his creation as the monster is Frankenstein's which means if this was a formal naming the monster's name would be "Eve" but Victor never refers to the monster by any name, only in adjectives such as "monster". Furthermore Shelly loved the idea of the monster not having a name which is why she intentionally never named him but I applied the logic of standard naming practices to counter the narrative than the monster would have been totally nameless and as we all know technically correct is the best kind of correct.
