So I've been playing a ton of Palworld and decided to give the UEVR mod a try with it using LunchAndVR's profile (original video here: • Palworld VR - Shoot Gu... )
However, I tend to notice with mods like this or Mario Kart Wii VR, when I find tutorials it seems like it's always early game basic gameplay, so I decided to give the setup a trial by fire...or rather ice by fighting one of the legendary Pals, Frostallion. Well, that and I just love these legendary fights.
It can take a bit of setup to get the settings right (I may make a tutorial if a lot of people ask) and there's some gotchas with launching the game where if you don't do it right you become invincible to most attacks, but as you can hopefully see here once it's dialed in it's more than playable up to the fact that late game content is perfectly doable. The biggest hang-ups in combat are that the reticle and gun don't quite lineup to where you'd think they fire, melee combat is awkward as you really just walk up to things and hold the trigger rather than physically swing, and having to use the left stick as the d-pad as well results in a lot of accidental inputs hence why the build menu keeps popping up.
This is set up with normal difficulty settings (yes, including catch rate).
