You've got to love Pam. She should be a Dame. And Poet Laureate, because we can all relate to her, unlike most poets.

I so love Pam Ayres - her poems and her recitations of life with her family and other experiences. Would love to see more of her on KZfaq. A very funny lady who could be cheeky but never lewd.

Pam has such a good eye for all of life’s experiences and then she tells the story in her own inimitable way. This lady is a treasure and I love both her poems and her chatty chats, they are so down to earth and easy to relate to.

I followed Pam from time I first saw her on opportunity knocks in 1975 I was amazed as I never knew until then poetry cud be fun!! Stuff we did at school left me cold!! At 32 I put pen to paper myself and wrote like I never knew I cud a friend suggested I share some and so I did the rounds with my poems in Bedford area and my accents very similar so started being called Bedford's answer to Pam Ayres!!! Terribly flattered at that I can tell you I was know as Harriet Hobbs maybe some of you out there will remember me?? I moved to Wales in early 2004 I did few recitals there too. In around 2006 I saw Pam in Chester ---- amazing and lovely lady and she signed her book for me Good luck with your poetry Harriet Pam Ayres!!! I no longer write now -- off times but this lady was my inspiration and wen we met an absolute delight. Never heard poetry like hers and doubt we will ever again a gem!!! Xxc

You are probably as funny as a polar bear on a melting ice flow. If you don't like her don't watch & move on .
@jimosullivan1389 Жыл бұрын
@@andrewjpearson2728 I see you have been brainwashed into thinking that polar bears are declining. It's just the opposite. 1950's = 5,000 and 2015...over 23,000. So using that example is fatuous. You probably think the monsters name was Frankenstein and that Cleopatra was Egyptian. "Now go away or I shall taunt you a second time!"😀
@davidlauder-qi5zv4 ай бұрын
@@jimosullivan1389The gentleman made no comment on the size of the polar bear population, still less on whether it was increasing or declining. So why mention it? And we all know that Baron Victor Frankenstein's creation was called "the creature". Most of us also know that Cleopatra IV was not Egyptian, but a member of the Ptolomy dynasty of Greece. Oh, and well done on quoting from Monty Python and the Holy Grail...
