Saw you on opportunity Knocks, Got your books, seen your stage show in Chester, watched you on KZfaq and countdown and, as a 79yr old amature poet and creative writer, find you a tremendous encouragement. You are an enormously talented ‘wordsmith’ with incredible perception of people, events, situations, animals etc etc. Your humour is awsome, and infectious ; when you smile and laugh, it radiates so much happiness. I just felt compelled to add my thanks to you, in making the world a better place. It’s time you were made a Dame for your contribution to poetry. Thank you for being YOU and for your successful efforts you have to making poetry it fresh, bright, humerous and delightful.
