How awesome that someone does this for a career! From giving birth, nursing, being ridden, pulling a heavy cart full of people and chasing after a young son, wow, the Queen needed this! I loved the way she nuzzled RS, such a super mom! Thanks Cody for your skill and love of horses.

Just listening to Coby explain all the muscles & how the horse body is put together while she worked on Uniek was very informative. Poor RS after his first "school yard" scrapes. Glad he's feeling better.

Yvonne, I'm sorry Rising Star got bitten but glad he is fine now. He was so sweet standing under mom's massive neck, getting comfort and security being near her. And when Uniek tickled his hindquarters, I was thinking she wanted her baby to feel better too. I am SO much in awe of God's creations, and all of your hard work and devotion to these magnificent animals, Yvonne. Thank you with all my heart~! ♥

My most favorite part is when Uniek starts to tickle her son and gives him little scratches while she gets her massage. I can tell this is a very loving. A kind of way that Uniek tells her baby that she loves him and she thinks he is cute. I haven’t seen the other mares do this with their foals or maybe I just haven’t noticed it but I think it’s the best!

I learned from watching these videos that when two horses groom each other, it's in the same location on the other horse. So the therapist massages Uniek on her rump, Uniek grooms RS on his rump! Pretty cool.

That’s true - they do scratch the same spot on each other but Uniek has been taped doing that cute little nibbling on him before like the day he was brought to her.

It was visible, that she liked the massage. No wonder, as she isn't a young horse anymore. I can imagine that the massage is also a relief, because of her arthritis.

There was a part when Coby was working on Uniek's left side by the neck when Uniek turned her head away and kept it in just that place so that she could make it easier for Coby to run her hands up along the muscle there. It's pretty clear Uniek was enjoying the massage and was participating!

I noticed that too. It was like Uniek was 'helping Coby to help Uniek', to make it easier for Coby to work. I'm sure horses understand even more than we sometimes give them credit for.

Uniek's eyes were droopy when she got to the other side. At one point I thought I could see RS's ribs but realized it was the shadow from the cage bars!!😂🤣😂🤣💘💞 very interspersed & educational video!!! Thanks for sharing!!!💘💞💘🐎🐴🐎🐴

My 75 yr. old body sure could use a deep tissue massage like that, and I would give her 48 hours to quit. The only thing I would be good for after that is a GREAT NAP. You can sure tell she is enjoying that massage and little RS looked as if to say, can I be next please. Great informative video. You can always learn something almost every day as long as you keep your eyes, ears and mind open. Luv the pretty horses.

What a beautiful gift to ‘our’ super Mem 👑Uniek to get this massage. At some point I thought she dozed off a bit😵🧡 Thank you to Coby for the explanation. I have heard of horse massage but have never seen how it is done. It is very similar to when I get a massage but on a horse the muscles are bigger. Interesting so see how a trigger point is done -- just like a human trigger point. Queen Uniek is giving Rising Star his own massage -- so cute. This video was very interesting. Thanks for that.

Most excellent you give Uniek this special care. She loved it. When I injured my neck badly, I had pressure point neurological massage. They always said to drink lots of water after as toxins were being released from the muscles. Now, of course you could lead Uniek to water....But...😬

Uniek really is one very spoiled Matriarch deserving every minute of her massage I can relate to having tight,sore muscles it’s no fun,if only horses everywhere were loved and treasured as much as Yvonne loves her Uniek. Update on the Queens arthritis? I have a physical therapist work on my entire spine once a week. I don't notice a big difference immediately but several hours later I notice that I am moving better and get a good nap. She deserves a heated therapy pool. 😆😆. Everyone have a great day.

I wonder if massages are available for thoroughbred race horses as well. Especially after a big race. Just like human athletes massages are helpful to disperse fluids produced by muscles that can cause cramping.

I was hoping the two colts would be equally matched, but Rinse is not only older, he is more dominate. Looks as he will be boss of RStar. I can't wait to see those two playing colt games. 🐎💨🐎

ooh at 10:40 that face she makes it is pure bliss with the muzzle nice and relaxed- everyone loves a spa day and I used to massage my hunter jumper like this, he would stick his nose out so far and close his eyes like he was in ecstasy :)

My father is a qualified sports massager. I view his work to be a bit more efficient on the nody compared to a normal masseuse. He doesn't massage us often (rarely) but he is always worried for my back since it's always really tight. It could be helped with regular sessions since I have hypermobile joints (and propably EDS), but I'm a full time student so I don't really have a budge for that. 😂 He has owned his own business in the industry, but he works with his other two job qualifications more. Watching this is very similar to what he does. But he goes over the spine with two fingers right at the grooves touching the spine. It's the best feeling ever!

The year my husband and I got married, a friend of ours gave us a gift certificate for a couple's package that included massages at a high end spa that we would not have been able to afford (or even known about) otherwise. When we went, that was about the extent of our honeymoon. The following year, we found we had a little extra in our tax returns, so we scheduled a second visit on our first anniversary. We've been back pretty much every single year...until Covid. We've missed it 2 years in a row now, and you would not BELIEVE the knots that have built up in that time. Hopefully the spa opens back up soon so my hubby and I can go on our next anniversary. 😄

I love the way Uniek reacts. Her mouth really relaxes and she blinks at certain moments. I suppose I make the same goofy face when my fysiotherapist loosens my neck muscles 😂

I am jealous Uniek, move over I need a massage :) Uniek looked like she was ready to fall over and go to sleep with that great massage. Momma gives her boy, Rising Star, scratches so he does not feel left out of the good feelings. I am so glad to hear that RS has mended, I love him so much!!!! I ordered a tee with Uniek and RS on it...cant wait to get it. Ty for the video and look forward to many more.

Almost the entire time Uniek looked like she's falling asleep. I've been to few massage sessions myself and I highly recommend it, so I know how Uniek feels - it's soooo good and relaxing :)

I was jealous of the massage! So relaxing, which my person could do like Coby did to Uniek! Poor baby boy, not doing well due to wild biter Janko. He may need a muzzle!
