Anyone reading this comment should go to japan, i implore you. BUY ALOT OF ENELOOPS AND THESE PRODUCTS THERE. Natively, the CC87 comes with exclusive bonus of an LED flood light. only about 80 lumen or so but very useful in a blackout! also, these devices are computerized on all banks, meaning you can even use the CC87 or CC-A3 (8 bank mega version. flagship portable charger) to do an even balance-discharge on lopsided batteries. (for instance, after using them in another device, and all batteries wore unevenly as is typical with AA flashlights). These will level them perfectly to safe levels between 1A-0.8A based on my testing. Very very useful for those who do not have intuitive chargers!

Thanks!! I want to get some AAAs, but there are so many brands, it’s hard to choose. Which would you recommend for low energy draining devices?(keyboards, mouses, small reading lights, tv remotes, wall clocks, small trimmers, etc)

nice informative video... can we use these AA rechargeable batteries for 1.5v required devices like blood pressure monitor? (mostly all rechargeable AA batteries are 1.2v so asking)

Hi! Yes, you can use it in stead of alkaline of dry 1.5v batteries without any difference. I’ve tried it and it works! Thanks!

Hi Thanks for the video information 👍I've just got these eneloop pro 2500mah 1.2v AA & will be charging these in my Xtar VC4SL charger via a USB 3.0 lead & Xtar wall adapter, is it good to charge these batteries slow (0.5A/1A?) Or is it ok to charge these batteries at around (2A) using 2 at a time? Thanks.

Hi, I think slow charging would be a better choice. Thanks!

Hi I'm looking at getting the standard Eneloop batts and charger to charge AAA batteries for my Casio Fx-cp400 CAS calculator. Would such calculators be considered high drain or normal? ( By the way, at ~ 6:12: there is a k in knob but it is not pronounced, English logic!) Thanks for the video.
@TechieViewVideo
@TechieViewVideo 2 жыл бұрын
Hi! Honestly, i do not have experience working with that particular device but i think 100 hours battery life on 4 alkaline batteries is rather "normal" drain, i would recommend you to try out 4 Eneloop Pro AAA standard rechargeable, i believe it would work well, not different from avarage (usual) alkaline. Thanks!

Thx for the review... I'm using BQ-CC 87N Panasonic battery charger and eneloop batteries... They didn't provide charger with it so I'm using 1000mA charger... Can I use that or need to use 1A charger... Numerically both are same😂... But need to clarify so I'm asking a techie... Thx🙏

My only concern with these fast chargers is, how does it affect the lifespan of the batteries? Does it generate too much heat? As far as I know, heat and fast recharging aren't good for batteries life.
@TechieViewVideo

Hi, I'm using these chargers already for quite some time dint noticed any changes in behavior of the batteries so far. It is not getting warm during charging of other devices at least from my experience so do not expecting problems from there. The charging / recharging cycles wear off battery that is for sure, I'm completely agree with you. Thanks!

Batteries can be fast charged down to standard 3-4hours with barely any heat of the batteries. When you go into rapid/super chargers like Duracell Ion 8000 of 15mins. Those have fans built to cool them down and keep them under temps. But even then like some 1hour chargers without such. The batteries are designed from such companies to handle the thermal heat they get generated from. So no all NIMH are able to withstand massive heat as others can. Or be super charged like Energizer/Duracell batteries can. Reducing charge time doesn't really degrade the mah, Unless you are using just 15min chargers. This doesn't charge the batteries to 100%. They are only used in a 'ready for' mode in 15mins at 75/80% of charge, if you need a hot swipe on a time effort. But normally you'd want around a hour to 4hours of charge for a complete 100% charge. Which duracell has had for their ion 8000 that does 2 fazes. 15min ready for, to 45/60min slow charge to top off that 80% to 100% with a slower charge rate. So yes in some cases heat and fast charging can be bad, For other brands. But for the top companies (Duracell/Rayovac/Energizer) that have designed their batteries for years. Have made improvements for lower charge time, and better stability of mah retaining. Not to mention the top companies. Also have 1 thing most 3rd parties do not. Trickle charging function. This function keeps the batteries primed and topped off even if they are left in the charger for period of time, Or reputs in a extra bit that wasn't there when it finished. While other chargers for companies normally just disable the function after it detects full, and then the batteries are left to discharge back into the charger and loose power.

I used to use the lightning fast chargers years ago. "USED TO". They scorched the batteries so bad, that those batteries didn't last a year.
