Panasonic EY503 Screwdriver motor repair

Күн бұрынI bought this not working EY503 2.4v battery screwdriver without a battery or a charger. I converted it to 3.6v Li-Ion but the motor is faulty. Can I fix the motor?

I have the same problem so if the count is high I mark it on paper: 10,20, 30 etc

I think you had a shorted turn? As that might get hot when the magnetic fields are changing, but won't show up doing a resistance test. You could try an inductive ring test as this will normally show up shorted turns in a transformer.
