Panasonic HC-V770 on Retford station 03/12/2015.

An opportunity to test out my new Panasonic HV-V770 camera. No colour balance, stabilisation or level adjustment has been carried out on my PC, the video is as it came from the camera.
A couple of hours at Retford station enabled me to record 26 trains, from 8 operating companies and 8 different class of trains (and I didn't video all that passed by any means).
Operating companies were Virgin, Northern Rail, Grand Central, Hull Trains, Colas Rail, Volker Rail, Freightliner, and East Midlands Trains.
The highlights were 2 different track maintenance trains and an HST set made up of East Midlands Trains power cars and Virgin East Coast carriages.

I’ve been using my HC V770 camera, and have been experiencing some of my videos can be blurry at times even in daylight. Obviously may got it in wrong settings. What shutter speed and Iris settings do you use? Many thanks

Hi! I have since upgraded my camera, but the settings I used on that camera was as follows - The recording format is set to AVCHD and the recording mode is 1080/50P as I found this gave me the best quality. Hybrid O.I.S. is set on and exposure is on auto. Hope that helps.

The video quality is really nice. It looks much better than videos from my HC-V770. Which settings did you use?

+Wonsz The recording format is set to AVCHD and the recording mode is 1080/50P as I found this gave me the best quality. Hybrid O.I.S. is set on and exposure is on auto. Hope that helps.

+Miksta131 I am really impressed by the camera and all its' capabilities, there are 3 video formats, but I've found the 1080/50p to be the smoothest for You Tube.
