thanks for this easy to follow guide I now have a working subwoofer and amp for my living room ceiling speakers and it sounds amazing oh and I used the cable that came with the system opened one end to fund which cables where for which pin and connected the speakers that way rather than pushing wires in the holes I find it more stable that way

I know this is a really old video, but is there anyway you can tell me if it's possible to take the red and white rca cables, the right and left audio respectively, and use these to connect to tv? Connect the brown cable to the fuse will power on front light of SUBWOOFER ?(Mine shows NO LIGHT ON) Have SB-WA730 SUB And can i connect Ground+pin 17(sub) straight to receiver SUB RCA input? Did it and have just HUMMMMM noise, no sound. Any help ? Thanks.

The light should be on if the sub is plugged in, it has nothing to with weather the sub is turned on

All the pinouts are listed above - you just need to connect the appropriate RCA outputs from your HD amp to the appropriate pins on the system cable and bridge pins 6 and 13. To turn the amp on or off, bridge pins 4 and 19

@@sermat1000 El cable RCA se conecta en polo a tierra al chasis del amplificador y el otro cable a los pines enumerados en el video. y se realiza puente con un cable del fusible al cable marron o cafe de la fuente de poder.....

Yo lo hice con el modelo SB-WA720.. lo que no me gustó y también pasa en este vídeo es que entra voz al bajo.. no sé si sea que lo estamos conectando directamente por RCA y el DVD sea el que maneje el crossover o nos falta conectar o puentear algo.. estaría genial resolver ese problema 🤔

I'm not 100% sure but I believe it wold be the same. You still have a line and a neutral supply to the power supply, just a 220v primary on the transformer. Good luck and don't hurt yourself.

Hi there. can you show me how do u connect the potentiometer wiring. I've connected the wire and all but the volume is very low. I really hope that you can show me how and any other stuff needed?. And are you just using normal cable, so meaning no left and right signal? just red and black cable. If i want is to have left, right and center sound, how should i do the wiring. Your video is the only one on KZfaq that shows this. Thank you so much.

The input source (ipod) has 3 wires, ground, left & right. I connected the ground to any ground of the amp (speakesrs black or #13). I split the right channel and connected it to: front right (#7), rear right (#14) and center (#15). I split the left channel and cnnected it to: front left (#11), rear left (#12) and sub in (#17). I was going to connect a double potof 50K between the ground and the channel input (left or right) in order to lower the volume. You can't increase the volume without a preamp. It was very loud with an ipod. I actually ended up buying a 5 channel car equelizer for $25 on ebay. it has 2 rca inputs (for 2 sources) and front, rear and sub outputs with seperate sub level control. I did have to buy a 12vdc power supply for $8 but it works great and it is loud!good luck.
